As I was alone and only there 2 nights, these were tiny things and didnt affect the trip overall."

On Friday night when we arrived, sat having drinks in the garden we were lucky enough to see a mother deer and her fawn skipping up the fields behind us. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed, large spacious bedrooms and a lovely hot tub. We had lunch in the dog and gun pub just up the road and the food was delicious. We then called at the Lamb just over the road for a quick drink before going back to enjoy the house. The host (Karen) was so helpful, she was easy to contact and got back to me with any questions I had and sent us a list of restaurants and takeaways which we used on the Friday night. I would definitely recommend this place!"

"Maple Leaf Cottage" is a traditional stone built terraced Victorian house circa 1890. A few minutes walk from the historic and attractive village of Haworth West Yorkshire. This was the home village of the famous Bronte Family. The three sisters, one brother and father lived at the Parsonage and created many literary classics. Haworth's cobbled Main Street is lined with many charming individual shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. At the end of the street is the Bronte Parsonage Museum, Haworth Church and Haworth Visitor Information Centre. Maple Leaf Cottage is also situated near Pennistone Hill, where there is a terrific circular walk just out of the front door where you can soak up the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside.

We purchased the property in August of 2017 and have made many improvements. The en-suite has been upgraded. The bedrooms have all new mattresses, linens and towels. The lounge has been redecorated with all new sofas and furnishings. The fireplace with a gas fired stove has been renovated with new tiles to give that extra cozy feel. The floor coverings have been restored and replaced as needed. The house has a new gas fired combi- boiler for intant heat and hot water.

Haworth hosts many themed weekends throughout the year. The hugely popular 1940's weekend on May 18 - 21 is quite the spectacle, with all the shops and people dressed in the 1940's war period. There is also a 1960's weekend. Steampunk weekend, followed by "Hawortheen" at the end of October. Christmas is like walking into a scene from "A Christmas Carol", with "Scrogging the Holly" and the Torchlight Procession.
The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway steam train stops in Haworth. It has numerous special weekends and events during the year. A sure hit with the young and old alike.
The Yorkshire Dales National Park is a short 15 minute drive to the North. Skipton is a must visit, called "The Gateway To The Dales" and is a true gem with the castle, locks, daily market, interesting shops, pubs. This is one of our favourite towns in Yorkshire. Further to the East is Whitby and Scarborough. Other cities, towns and villages to visit are York, Halifax, Saltaire, Harrogate, Hebden Bridge, Ilkley, Settle - just a few of the many places to enjoy. There are countless other small villages to the North and in the Dales to explore..

The space

This is an impressive and delightful five bedroom home with private grounds, hot tub, gardens and oversized pond/lake.

Our home has plenty to offer with a twist of modern combined with character, such as its Grade II listed fireplaces, original wooden beams, quirky layout and stone mullion windows.

Enjoying beautiful views of the grounds, this property is hidden gem in the highly regarded village of West Morton.

On the ground floor there is an entrance hall with a boot room and a spacious kitchen/dinning room with all modern appliances including an American style fridge freezer.

The lounge has a huge log burner (logs are provided), there is a large TV with sky and plenty of board games for cosy nights in.

The conservatory overlooks the gardens and is a tranquil place to sit and read a book with the sun streaming in or have your early morning coffee. The conservatory has a solid roof so keeps cool in the summer and warm in the winter. From here you have access to the Hot tub which is perfect for watching the sun set.

There is a laundry room with a separate washer and dryer and a downstairs toilet.

The master bedroom has a king size bed with built in TV, ample hanging and storage space and a huge en-suite with separate shower and a deep inviting bath tub.

There are two further double bedrooms (bed 3 has a zip-link double which can be 2 singles) each en-suites and a large study with two workstations and desk chairs on this floor.

On the second floor there is a large entertainment room and a fourth bedroom which has an ensuite and open plan dressing area with wardrobe space.

The fifth bedroom is the nursery/children’s playroom and is on the ground floor next to the kitchen and has a single sofa bed.

There are multiple baby items available if traveling with little ones to make traveling lighter for you!! Our modern, newly refurbished apartment is situated next to Cliffe Castle gardens, and a short drive from the village of Haworth. This impressive country estate has 5 spacious bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and beautifully manicured gardens with a hot tub, lake, fire pit & outdoor entertainment spaces for soaking up those summer evenings.

The house is tastefully decorated & it feels inviting & homely. There are two log burners, one in the kitchen & another huge one in the living room. Logs are provided together with lots of board games for fun, cosy nights in!

Our home has plenty to offer with its twist of modern combined with character, such as its Grade II listed fireplaces, quirky layout and stone mullion windows.

Enjoying beautiful views of the grounds, this property is a hidden gem in the highly regarded village of West Morton.

On the ground floor there is an entrance hall with a boot room and a spacious kitchen / dining room with all modern appliances.

The lounge has a huge log burner and there is Sky TV and plenty of board games for cosy nights in.

I had triplets here and have left a lot of items for babies that will be really helpful if you’re travelling with little ones. There is a travel cot with a bassinet; a Sleepyhead mattress; two baby bjorn bouncers; a jumperoo; a baby bath & towels; two play gyms; baby crockery & cutlery; bottles; a UV steriliser; formula prep machine & bottle warmer. So you should be all set if travelling with babies!

The space
A beautifully decorated semi detached house, situated just on the outskirts of Silsden town centre. We are perfectly situated for commuting to Leeds/Bradford and Skipton as well as easy access to train stations and bus links. Silsden is the ideal location for business, leisure, with amazing walking and cycling routes throughout the Yorkshire Dales.
We provided a spacious double bedroom, with linen, bath towels, tea/coffee facilities in the bedroom, as well as a private bathroom and WI-FI. A shared kitchen is available to use as well as a lounge, which will be shared with us.
We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful town of Silsden.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The cottage is situated a very pleasant 18 minute walk to the Worth Valley Steam Train Station - visitors are now in Brontë land. Then a short distance through a pleasant Park to historic Haworth Main Street shopping area, the Brontë Parsonage and Church......or a five minute drive to the Parsonage car park.
The cottage has been entirely renovated to a high standard with top floor guest accommodation.

The space
The cottage is circa 1800 with a rich history of occupation by mill workers. It has been sympathetically renovated preserving many original features. A third floor was added which is available solely for guest use....completely private. The double bedroom has amazing views overlooking the Worth Valley Railway which runs in the valley bottom. There is an adjoining spacious luxury bathroom incorporating a walk in shower plus a slipper bath .....should guests wish for a leisurely soak.
Nearby the Haworth area is steeped in history, past home to the famous literary Brontes and surrounded by breathtaking scenery.

Guests have access to one double bedroom with adjoining spacious luxury bathroom.....comprising both a walk in shower and a deep slipper bath. Guests are welcome to use the small patio garden with seating area and stunning views.
There is plenty parking just outside the cottage.

Our house is in the heart of Haworth village, famous for it’s Literary geniuses the Bronte Sisters.
Haworth has lots to offer including the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, a famous element in the Railway Children movie and its sequel. The Main Street is full of fabulous shops pubs and cafes. Top Withens and Bronte Falls are popular walks.
Haworth is central to many fantastic places including Saltaire, The Yorkshire Dales and Hebden Bridge to name a few.

The space
Wildfell is a Victorian mid terraced property with small gardens front and back. There are views across the Worth Valley.
The room is a double attic room with roof beams and luxury en-suite bathroom with roll top bath. Contemporary modern decor.

Guest access
On Street parking outside the house. There is a bus stop at the end of the lane with busses to Keighley and Hebden Bridge. The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway runs a seasonal timetable and links to the mainline Keighley station.

Accommodation is 2 minutes walk from Haworth Main St, the Bronte Parsonage and just 2 miles from the Pennine Way at Stanbury. Haworth & the surrounding area is ideally located for walkers, cyclists, Bronte enthusiasts & Steam Railway fans.
The self contained accommodation is in the attic of our home. It is a large and airy space with wonderful views across the valley. There is an en suite private shower room. Access is via 2 staircases & not wheelchair accessible. There is Internet but no T.V.

The space
The Attic space has a double bed, bedside cabinets, 2 seater sofa, wardrobe with doors, tea and coffee making facilities, mini fridge, mirror and hairdryer. The space is warm, comfortable and peaceful.

Guest access
Guests will have exclusive access to the attic space. Also, access to a bath in the family bathroom and the family living room by arrangement on arrival

During your stay
Am very happy to advice you on local things to do and I can provide non cooked breakfasts on request. For walkers and cyclists, lifts to and from the Pennine Way and other points within a short range are available, if prearranged. There will be a small charge to cover the cost of fuel, to be agreed in advance

We have our own working cocker spaniel. He is very friendly, lives downstairs and does not go in the attic space

In 2 miles you have the village of Haworth with quirky shops and plenty of eateries. Keighley is our closest town which is 1.5 miles away with a choice of supermarkets. Train station with links to Leeds, Bradford & Skipton

A short drive you will have access to Skipton, Yorkshire Dales, Ilkley and Harrogate.

Stylish & modern king size bedroom with adjacent shower room. There is a wardrobe and a chest of draws available so plenty of room to store your clothes. There is a flat screen TV with SKY & Netflix available. You will have access to a microwave & a mini fridge on the same floor. Tea and Coffee facilities are available in your room along with cutlery and crockery.

There is a smaller bistro set outside for your use.

Washing machine and dryer are also available for a small charge.

We have an Electric car charging point available at an extra cost.
