It is detached and whilst located adjacent to our home, Lund House, it retains full privacy.Visitors now have their own private outside spaces.The door in the dining/lounge area of the barn leads onto a large and stunning roof terrace overlooking the orchard.Here you can sip your favourite tipple,relaxing on comfy rattan chairs with cushions and stools or watch the sun rising whilst you breakfast around the table or the sun setting in the evening. The barn overlooks an apple tree orchard with far reaching views towards the pretty village of Hunsingore, which is located by the River Nidd. There is a picnic bench for sitting on in a secluded, peaceful and sunny corner of the orchard.Many of our guests have commented on the wildlife they have seen from the lounge area including owls,hares,pheasants,hedgehogs, and deer .There is also a bird feeder which attracts many feathered visitors including woodpeckers,wrens,sparrows and bluetits..Outside the barn entrance, there is an ornamental pond with fountain and Koi carp and 2 fig trees growing up the wall, hence the name. We have recently welcomed some lovely Dutch (zwaltbles)rare breed sheep into our back field.They are very friendly and enjoy being stroked and you can watch them from the lounge windows.Have a look at our photos of them.
