- "Terrible communication before arrival led to delayed check in and was the cause of great frustration after a long drive. No understanding or apology from the property management, completely opposite response from hotels.com who did their best to resolve the issue and were very understanding. Entering the property we discovered a loudly beeping smoke alarm which we had to take down and remove the battery to stop the annoying sound. The property needs some maintenance, a broken cupboard door in the kitchen, the shower hose leaks. The shower is poor quality and has very low pressure and the cubicle is small for what is quite a spacious property. No lamp shade on the ceiling light in the main bedroom and no bedside lights. Poorly equipped with crockery and cutlery. The property has potential to be a very pleasant place to stay but clearly the management show little interest in maintaining it to a high standard. The pictures and description flatter to deceive. The overall attitude of the property management was unacceptable."

Apartment itself (and the building as a whole) had a bit of a weird smell about it. 2. Kitchen was missing the front of the oven door (glass front) so the handle was loose and felt unsafe to use. 3. Kick board in the kitchen was lying on the floor and you could see how dirty it was underneath the cupboards. 4. Kitchen floor had seen better days, felt sticky and gaps in the boards which were full of bits. 5. General decor was grubby and in need of some TLC. 6. Parking advertised as ‘on site’ which to me means the same building but was actually the Citi Car Park around the corner - it seems they deem ‘on site’ to be on the dock area. Great location and felt very safe but definitely not as advertised and disappointed as I booked as a surprise for my sisters birthday and felt like we had been a bit misled. I book lots of hotels personally and professionally and very rarely feel the need to write a negative review but in this case feel it is justified as the apartment you get is not what I believe is on offer. - "Don’t let the area put you off , it was quiet during our stay. Lovely 2 bedroom house , very clean and modern throughout with smart tv. Lamp and fans in each room. Can’t faullt it. Excellent communication from the landlord. Only downfall was the parking. I clicked on the hotel category that said free selff parking when I booked this.. Even though I’d specifically asked if it was safe for cars to park and the landlord said would be ok as it’s weekend. We arrived to find that the street was strictly residential permit holders only . This booking was meant to save us money. Instead we had to park on another street and my two friends left there cars at home and travelled to and from the house by taxi. One from Bradford one from a lot further . Costing over 100 pound in taxis. In future the landlord needs to provide a permit for at least one car outside the house . On collecting our car next morning we were greeted by an extremely irate resident for parking outside her house , there were no other cars there, not 1 . She was trying to knock my block off. Had to leave at great speed which was just terrifying. ALL OF THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED HAD I NOT BEEN LIED TO REGARDING THE PARKING AS I SIMPLY WOULD HAVE NOT BOOKED IN THIS PARTICULAR PROPERTY. Nice plain room with single bed, cabinet, and desk. It's on the 1st floor of this lovely terraced house, right next to the bathroom. There are guitars hanging on one wall as this room houses my son's expanding guitar collection. There's a dining kitchen to make coffee and heat up food in the microwave. Tea making facilities are in your room. The stairs are quite steep but there is a handrail to help you up and down. Free on-street parking. The 51 bus 2 is mins away, 52 is about 5 mins.

The space
The street is nice and quiet with roadside parking. A park with ancient woodland is a 3 minutes walk away. Waitrose and Aldi are each 5 minutes away. Buses are frequent in the daytime. This room would be ideal for one off stays for job or university interviews etc., for watching the cricket/rugby at Headingley, for longer stays for visiting artists/performers or if you're seeing offspring/friends in Leeds. It's a single room but much larger than a box room.

This is a gorgeous double room, in a beautiful house situated in a quiet residential area two and a half miles (under ten minutes drive) from Leeds city centre. There is safe on-street parking outside the house.

Guests have commented on how cosy and comfortable this room is. It's our favourite one in the house!

The space
This wonderful attic room has symmetrical gently polished wooden beams. The window is dressed with a Roman blind. There is an old Victorian fireplace, and the bed is exceedingly comfy, with a memory foam mattress.

If you like to sit in bed and admire the view you'll love spending restful time in here.

The house has just been lovingly renovated and decorated to a high standard. Downstairs there is a living room, a dining room and a fully-equipped kitchen all available for your use. On the first floor there is a small bathroom featuring a loo and a sink. On your floor there is a brand new bathroom with a shower and bath.

Please note that this is one of four bedrooms in the house. Typically each room accommodates one person staying in Leeds for work, so it's possible that you will be sharing the house with three others. Due to restrictions brought about in order to protect from Covid 19, we now only accept guests on a long terms basis, i.e. at least a month. We also provide disinfectant spray for hard surfaces, hand sanitiser, and protective gloves and masks for our guests.
