- "Really nicely decorated and spacious property. It was difficult to heat downstairs on the first couple of days (but was particularly cold outside) and there were no logs or kindling for the fire. The house itself had plenty of room for ten adults quite easily but slightly lacked the necessary amount of crockery and even dining chairs to accommodate that number of adults.There was always plenty of hot water for showers although we had issues with the boiler while we were there, the team at Host and Stay (particularly Charlie) was very responsive to our messages and tried to sort it out for us.Be aware that the isolation of the property meant that there is no phone signal there but the WiFi is okay for WhatsApp calls (although it creaked a bit under the strain of 10 adults all on their phones at once!)."

Any sort of parties, gatherings or events are strictly not permitted, the property is for accommodation purposes only for the guests staying. This property is located in a residential area and guests are asked to refrain from excessive noise or any activity that would disturb

the neighbours. If it's been reported that there are any parties or events or noise disturbance then you may be required to leave the property immediately without the remaining nights being refunded. There is a charge of £500 if any evidence of a party, gathering or event at the property have been found exclusive of any charges relating to damages or additional cleaning costs to get the property in good order again. We trust you will respect the property and neighbours during your stay.

You are required to keep the place reasonably clean and tidy - no dirty dishes left over or excessive rubbish to be disposed of as this is not included in the cleaning charge. Five Acres is a stunning barn conversion featuring large arched windows providing a light and airy open-plan living space. Add to this beautiful gardens and stunning views over the fields and hills with sheep grazing and free-range chickens roaming, Five Acres really is a rural idyll.

The spacious open-plan dining room, kitchen and sitting room boasts far reaching views across the surrounding countryside, exposed beamed ceilings, a bespoke kitchen with AGA (turned off during the summer) and a roaring wood burning stove in the large fireplace.
