- "This is a wonderful old village pub with excellent food, great service and a larger than life Landlord. We stayed one night here, were made very welcome and enjoyed the great choices of dishes for our evening meal before a roaring log fire. The Whitby Scampi and chips followed by traditional 'Spotted Dick and custard was served very quickly and was delicious. The small bar was busy with locals and folk staying at the pub and it was a very friendly atmosphere. Our room was fairly small but clean,warm, with a kettle and hairdryer, TV and was en-suite. The bed was quite comfortable but the mattress could do with replacing as it was slightly dished at the centre. Breakfast was served in the dining room and was quickly served. Nothing was too much trouble and was served by the Landlord who was a mine of information. I would heartily recommend this pub."

A stunning resort and a beautiful Grade 2 listed 18th century Manor House. Sutton Hall is set in Yorkshire, England’s largest and perhaps most historic county. Sutton Hall has been sympathetically adapted to provide eight apartments, three cottages and three barn conversions. - "We stayed for 1 night to celebrate my Mum's 70th birthday. We wanted a girl's night in away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The Sutton Suite room was beautiful. The decor was very rich family 30s, with dresser and wall panelling but with a modern bright cleanliness to it. It felt very homely. We had an evening meal in the local pub and then had a pamper night. It was lots of fun and much better than a traditional hotel room. We loved it and hope to return again."
