- "The cottage was well-appointed and comfortable with all the equipment required that you would expect. The small garden was also a nice feature especially during the lovely weather we were lucky to have. The only downside was the very limited parking available nearby. We decided to leave our car in the large Yorkshire Dales Information Centre carpark and booked a place for the week which worked fine for us. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Grassington and wouldn't hesitate to stay at the cottage again."

- "." - "We absolutely loved this property and it met all our needs in terms of the facilities, location, space/bedrooms etc, cleanliness and style/decor/atmosphere. A beautiful modern apartment with everything you’d need in the kitchen and other rooms. Spotlessly clean. We had a minor problem with the hot water as the boiler seemed to have been switched off -or maybe a problem with the timer- but we called the number in the information pack and it was sorted very quickly. I would definitely stay here again. We stayed with our two kids ages 21 and 17. But I am actually thinking of coming back again with my mum as she would love it. Grassington is a great location too. Thanks for a great stay. "

- "We had a very nice holiday at "The Shippon" and enjoyed it much. The cottage is very well-equipped, we didn't miss anything. At the arrival we found milk, tea and cookies. A warm welcome! In the living room we found a small library with books and maps, a movie selection - we loved watching "Calendar girls". There are spare light bulbs for each lamp in the house, everything is labelled. Very good. Maybe we'll come back another year. "

- "Beautiful accommodation in central Grassington. Very well equipped, with everything you could need for a stay. Tastefully and comfortably decorated and furnished to a high standard, with quality fixtures throughout. Warm and with plentiful hot water, I enjoyed a soak in the roll-top bath after a New Year's walk around Malham. Close to the shops and hostelries of Grassington it was perfect for our Mon-Fri New Year trip. We also enjoyed a trip to Skipton (where a special ring was purchased!!) Worth noting that this accommodation wouldn't be ideal for the elderly or infirm as access is up an external metal staircase and across a short section of flat roof, the final part wasn't well lit and the activation of the sensor light was temperamental, and we found it a little slippery in the damp icy weather we had. The paving to the bottom of the staircase although very well lit was like an ice rink on our final icy morning! There is no parking with the accommodation either, we were usually lucky with a space in a parking layby a short distance away, but a couple of times had to park slightly further away, not a big issue for us but it could be for some. The one improvement that would be welcomed within the accommodation is a mirror in each bedroom, or indeed a mirror anywhere close enough to a plug socket to be able to use hair appliances while looking in it. Lovely mirrors in the bathroom but no good for hairdryers and potentially no good for make up either if steamed up from showers or if 4 people all trying to get showered and ready to go out. We ladies do like a hair and makeup station in our bedrooms, particularly if sharing accommodation with others."
