This 17th century Grade II listed house is located in pretty village of Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales. Dating back to 1604, Ashfield House offers luxurious rooms, country cooking and a walled garden. All rooms are individually decorated and are ensuite. The rooms have Egyptian cotton bedding. Each room has a TV, a well stocked refreshments tray and bottled water. The garden suite also has a lounge with feature fireplace and wood stove. A full English is served at Ashfield House. All ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. There is also a licensed 'honesty' bar at the property, and some excellent pubs and restaurants in the area. Guests can relax in the lounges or gardens and free WiFi is available in most areas. Set on the River Wharfe, Grassington is ideal for walking, fishing and cycling and lies on the ‘The Dales Way’ trekking route. Ashfield House has free private parking and is 9 miles from Skipton.

Our Bed and Breakfast is located in Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales. It's a stunning part of the world and perfect for exploring! It is a beautiful spacious period house which is in a fabulous location.

You can book as many of the rooms as you need. There is a large lounge solely for our guests use. There are tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a fridge for guest use.

It is only a five minute walk to the centre of Grassington. This is not a self-catering property, but a B&B.

The space
We have some of the best views in Grassington. Come and stay in our family run B&B with two very large family ensuite rooms and two other twin/double rooms which share a shower room. Full English breakfast included in the price.

We have four guest bedrooms in the Bed & Breakfast. Two of the rooms are extremely large and have ensuite bathrooms, both with gorgeous cast iron baths. The other two rooms share the use of a large shower room and also two separate toilets.

Bedroom one is a very large family room. It has a super-king bed and two single beds. There is a big sofa and a television in the room. This room has a modern ensuite with a bath with separate shower above it. The room is very bright and has windows on three different sides of the room which all look over the fantastic views.

Bedroom two is another family room. It has a double bed and a single bed in it. There is also a small sofa in the room.

Bedroom three is a twin room with two single beds and two armchairs in it. The room has a beautiful original fireplace in it.

Rooms 2 & 3 share the use of the large shower room, which has recently been renovated.

Bedroom four is a large ensuite family room. There is a double bed and a single bed. The ensuite boasts a fabulous original roll-top bath and wonderful views. The bedroom has three armchairs and a television in it.

Please message me to enquire about prices for children as these vary depending on if they will be sleeping in the same room and their age. We can provide travel cots, a bed side and a highchair for babies.

Breakfast is served between 7am and 9am. We take your order the night before and cook it fresh for you in the morning. We cater for all dietary requirement. Let us know in advance if have any allergies or intolerances.

Please note that this is a Bed and Breakfast and we live here too. There are no kitchen facilities available to guests. No pets are allowed inside the house and smoking is not permitted on the premises.

Guest access
You will have access to a private lounge with sole use for our guests. This has tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. There is a large dining room for breakfast in the morning.

There is no access to a kitchen, as this is a Bed and Breakfast. We serve a cooked breakfast every morning to our guests.

There are many fantastic pubs, restaurants and cafes in the village to eat at in the evenings.

During your stay
There is a private lounge for guests. I am on site if you have any questions or queries. We hope guests will make themselves at home and enjoy their stay.

The space
The suite overlooks our walled garden; accessed through a private patio. It is private and peaceful. Internally it comprises of a spacious lounge with a feature fire place and stove on the ground floor and a super king-sized bedroom en-suite on the first floor.
All windows overlook our garden, which is very popular with a large variety of bird life and the patio provides a ring side seat to peacefully observe our feathered friend’s comings and goings.
