Beautiful house with fantastic views. Glebelands is a short level walk from the town centre and the lake and has all the advantages of a quiet location, parking and spectacular mountain views. The Shepherd's Hut is a gorgeous little place for solo holiday makers - complete with a wood-burning stove, loo and bed!

It is set behind The Mount B&B. It has great views of the garden, and easy access from the car park.

The hut contains everything you should need - apart from a shower so you have your own private shower-room in the main house. In addtion, you are welcome to use the lounge in the main house for watching telly and relaxing when you are not out on the fells.

When you arrive we'll show you to your room and tell you what you'll need to know, we then take a hands off approach so you can head out and enjoy Keswick and the surrounding areas or just relax in your room with a cup of tea.

You might see us about the house cleaning, servicing rooms, or checking in/out other guests.

Of course we will be on hand if there are any problems or you have any questions, and if we are out we give our guests a contact number... just in case.

Our room offers free parking although this is on a first come first served basis as spaces are limited. We recommend parking at the rugby club which is £5 for 24 hours and is about a 5 minute walk from the property. Alternatively there is a car park besides the property (Otley road car park behind the laundrette) this is £12.20 for 24 hours.

The room is situated on the first floor and there are steps at the external entrance.

This is a dog friendly room however, please respect the property and refrain from letting dogs in the bed. Also we can only accept quiet, non-aggressive dogs due to other guests staying in the property, if they are causing a disturbance to others, we may have to ask you to leave.
