It is detached and whilst located adjacent to our home, Lund House, it retains full privacy.Visitors now have their own private outside spaces.The door in the dining/lounge area of the barn leads onto a large and stunning roof terrace overlooking the orchard.Here you can sip your favourite tipple,relaxing on comfy rattan chairs with cushions and stools or watch the sun rising whilst you breakfast around the table or the sun setting in the evening. The barn overlooks an apple tree orchard with far reaching views towards the pretty village of Hunsingore, which is located by the River Nidd. There is a picnic bench for sitting on in a secluded, peaceful and sunny corner of the orchard.Many of our guests have commented on the wildlife they have seen from the lounge area including owls,hares,pheasants,hedgehogs, and deer .There is also a bird feeder which attracts many feathered visitors including woodpeckers,wrens,sparrows and bluetits..Outside the barn entrance, there is an ornamental pond with fountain and Koi carp and 2 fig trees growing up the wall, hence the name. We have recently welcomed some lovely Dutch (zwaltbles)rare breed sheep into our back field.They are very friendly and enjoy being stroked and you can watch them from the lounge windows.Have a look at our photos of them. There is ample and secure off road parking and a locked bike shed. George's Place is a beautiful 3 bedroom period cottage situated in the heart of Boston Spa. With its private parking, fast WIFI and outdoor seating area, it is the perfect hub for exploring your wanderlust.

Upon parking in the allocated parking space, you make your way through the garden gate and enter the property via the rear door.

You enter directly into the Kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay including a dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, microwave, oven and ample cutlery and crockery.

Walking through the Kitchen, you then enter the Living area, which houses bright stylish sofas and a Smart TV with Netflix pre-loaded for the benefit of our guests.

Next to the Living area is the Dining area with a stunning large solid dining table and seating for six people.

Moving upstairs, you will find the main bedroom with a large king size bed, an occasional chair and a wardrobe for storage. Next is the second bedroom which contains a comfortable double bed and the final bedroom contains a single bed which folds out and can be converted into a double bed. Also on this floor you will find the spacious bathroom which has a bath, overhead shower, basin and toilet.

Back to the garden, the owner has provided a beautiful rattan seating/dining area sat upon a newly laid Indian stone courtyard.

Across the arched bridge on the opposite side of the river is the much older village of Thorp Arch.

Boston Spa village centre is within easy walking distance and has a variety of coffee shops, restaurants and takeaways, a post office, library, service station, a butcher, hardware store, off-licence a supermarket and three pubs as well as a range of gift shops and local boutiques. The main high street is lined with Georgian villas and older town houses. The glorious scenery along the banks of the River Wharfe attracts many hikers and day-trippers to the area to enjoy the beautiful countryside and local walks.
