Newly renovated, first floor one bedroom stone built holiday cottage, dating back to the 1850s with vaulted ceilings and pitched pine original beams gives it a cosy welcoming feel. Sat elevated on the edge of the village of Cowling, commanding spectacular views. Everything you need for your long and short stays!

There is safe free parking for at least two cars directly outside the cottage. An enclosed private garden area.
I'm usually around to hand over the keys but on the rare occasion I'm not able to welcome you the keys wiil be in the lock box next to the cottage door. The code will be sent the day before check-in.

The accommodation is above LoobyLou's coffee and gift shop in the middle of Main Street looking onto the famous cobbles. Guests have their own entrance with space to hang coats and leave muddy boots. Open plan lounge looking onto Main Street with beamed ceiling, having a dining area and fully fitted kitchen including built-in appliances. Bathroom with 3 piece suite having a shower over the bath so you can relax after a day of walking out on the moors.
One step up to the bedroom which has built in wardrobe space and looking onto a quiet backwater. There is a single occasional bed which is suitable for one person. It can be set up in the bedroom or lounge to suit your preference.
This property is has a steep staircase up to the first floor which would not be suitable for guests/pets with mobility problems.

Guests have their own access to the accommodation. The key is kept in a safe next to the door. Please note that the stone steps leading to the entrance are steep and uneven and would not be suitable for guests/pets with mobility problems.

Other things to note
We do not have any parking at the accommodation but you are welcome to drop your cases on Croft Street behind LoobyLou's. The best place for parking is The Parsonage Museum car park.

The space
Highview is a self contained flat. It has a living room with a kitchen area in the same room. There is a separate bedroom and a very large bathroom . The Bathroom has both a shower AND a separate slipper bath. Two well behaved dogs are welcome at the property and we have created a private dog paddock that is for the sole use of guest staying at the apartment . There is also a separate field which the Host/Farmer will make available to guests upon request so that dogs can have a good run around . As we are a working farm we respectfully ask Guest to make sure that dogs are on a lead when not in the private paddock area or in the exercise field. Highview is part of the main farmhouse but does have a private separate entrance However the hosts are on hand if needed and will be more than happy to point out local attractions in the local area .
We are two minutes from the moors - 1 mile from Haworth itself and 4 miles out of Keighley . Local towns in the area are Hebden Bridge , Skipton, Ilkley, Saltaire (world heritage centre) and Bradford.

Guest access
Guest have their own entrance to the property. The staircase has open tread steps with a landing and a large balcony at the top. The property also comes with a self contained Paddock so that dogs can be exercised in a contained area. There is also a very large field where the farmer / Host is more than happy to make available for exercising dogs upon request .
The property has recently undergone extensive renovation and has a new bath , separate shower and a brand new outside staircase with a large balcony/sitting/dining area at the top which overlooks parts of the farm .

Other things to note
There is a sceptic tank. Please use only environmental products and please do not flush any products other than toilet paper down the loo! We provide a bin for wipes etc 😊

We allow our guests to bring up to two well behaved dogs . We also love our dogs 😊 We provide an area which is a secure paddock for your dogs to exercise BUT you must clean up after your dog. There is also a private field which belongs to the farm which can be used to exercise your dog upon request with ourselves. We respectfully ask that dogs be groomed and clean and ask that dogs are not allowed to go in the bath or be showered with the door open - we have a portable dog shower for muddy dogs!
