Beautifully situated within the lovely substantial grounds of a grade II listed farmhouse adjourning open fields, the studio offers modern accommodation recently renovated to a high standard.
The studio is situated within 300yards of the popular Dalesway, a 5 minute drive to Bolton Abbey and a short walk to village amenities which include a number of pubs, all serving food, and various shops/PO. The spa town of Ilkley is just 3 miles away where a wide selection of shops, restaurants and bars are to be found. The spa town of Harrogate and the market town of Skipton are easy drives away and offer a wide range of attractions.
The studio consists of a kitchen area with twin induction hob, conventional oven, fridge (with freezer box) and dining table. This adjoins the spacious lounge area with TV. and comfy sofa. The modern kitchen is well equipped for self-catering stays so you’ll have everything you could need to prepare meals easily. The dining area, to the left of the kitchen, includes a dining table and two chairs.

Retreat to the bedroom and you’ll see the double bed which has premium bedding and linens so you can have a blissful night's sleep.

Head to the bathroom and you’ll find a traditional space. Unwind in the bathtub or start your day with a refreshing shower. The room is complete with a basin and WC. Please note that the shower is in the form of an overhead shower.

In the summer months, take a trip to Ilkley Lido to make the most of the sunshine. There are also many other attractions nearby such as the mediaeval Manor House and Toy Museum.

Burley Woodhead is within 40-minutes drive time of Harrogate, Knaresborough and Leeds so it’s perfectly located for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire. Ilkley is just 10 minutes away by road, or if you fancy a walk, you can get there in just over an hour.

Burley in Wharfedale train station is a short 5 minute drive away and has regular routes to Leeds, with connecting routes to Manchester and Sheffield amongst others.

The 962 bus route stops in Burley in Wharfedale and offers a direct route to Otley and Ilkley with stops at villages throughout Wharfedale.

There is surprisingly little street noise generally or from the station specifically. The apartment looks just as the pictures show yet they don't convey how spacious it is or the lovely view from the front room. The kitchen was more than adequately equipped, including fore example tea, coffee and sugar to get you started. There were plenty of buses and taxis as well as the trains themselves. We've already recommended it to others! All the communication was prompt and useful. Check in was via a lockbox."

- "The hideaway is in a great location on a quite side street but within very easy walking distance of Ilkley town centre. The property is comfortable, nicely decorated and spacious and was a perfect base for us attending a wedding nearby. Although we didn’t use it, it had a lovely garden out front, was really well equipped for our stay and , most importantly, we all slept really well! Given the proximity to the town centre it was great to have a private parking space but there is ample parking on the road nearby (for a very small fee) if you have more than one vehicle. Sleeps 2 adults in a double bed, there is room for a cot in the bedroom area, this area essentially sleeps 2 adults and an infant. A cot can be provided if required. The kitchen has a sofa bed that sleeps an adult or two small children as the mattress is just larger than a single bed. The kitchen cannot be used when the sofa bed is extended.

The apartment is small and cosy but fully equipped, there is a step down into the en-suite, and there is a step down into the walk in wardrobe, private and secure and was formerly part of my family home.

The immediate area is very quiet and peaceful, a few dog walkers going past each morning and evening and from your window you will see wild rabbits running around the adjacent woodland, you will also see grey squirrels running up and down the trees, and the neighbouring owls can be heard hooting at night.

We are a ten minute walk from the Grove (home of Betty’s tearoom), Ilkley train station and the start of the Dales Way. We are also very lucky to be so close to the River Wharf and the lovely Riverside Gardens.

The space
The studio apartment has been sympathetically converted from an original Weaver’s Workshop – using natural materials to maintain an authentic feel. It is cosy, with comfortable seating, dining and sleeping areas – including a hand crafted bed made from wood beams from the farm. There is a compact kitchen area with full size oven and a small fridge with freezer compartment, and a modern shower room.
There is also 15 acres of woodland and fields for you to enjoy, including a stream that runs through the land, and plenty of places to explore or sit and relax.
Ideal for two people, however we can provide a travel cot for a baby and there is a sofa bed for a small child.
We love well behaved dogs and they are very welcome however we do make a charge of £5 per stay for them (please don't forget to pay during your stay) please let us know in advance if you are bringing a dog.

Other things to note
You could say we are ‘off the beaten track’, however we actually are down a beaten track! The Weavers Workshop is accessible in any car but care should be taken as you approach down the track.
