Addingham is a beautiful well kept, friendly village, with excellent amenities and 5 pubs! The cottage location is ideally situated for Weddings taking place near Bolton Abbey, it is also perfect for keen walkers, family stays, romantic breaks and more.

3 George Street is recorded as being the original middle school room situated in the centre of the oldest part of Addingham Village. The cottage boasts a cosy hot tub in the well maintained garden. There is one designated parking space. Entrance to the front of the cottage is accessed via a short non vehicle pedestrian only street. The cottage is directly opposite a quaint coffee shop with roaring fires and rustic charm.

This period cottage retains its old worldly charm and many original features including exposed beams, lintels, ceiling areas and clever use of storage space. On three floors this well proportioned cottage flexibly sleeps 4. First floor Super King size bed, second floor double with small futon bed and ground floor double size sofa bed. We do not accept more than 4 adults and 3 children. Croft Cottage is a single storey, stone Georgian stable block in its own grounds and off road parking at the edge of Addingham village and the Yorkshire Dales.
Set back on a quiet lane on the Dales Way and within easy walking distance of the village and shops.

The space
The cottage has a large comfortable living/dining room with comfortable seats to relax in and a sofa bed for extra guests, patio doors lead from the living room to the east facing patio to watch the morning sunshine and garden views. There are 2 bedrooms off the corridor which runs full length of the cottage, as well as a full bathroom with shower. The single beds in the twin room can be put together if required, please let me know if this is required.
The kitchen has a table, fridge, freezer, oven, hob, washer and drier. To the west of the cottage is another patio with seats to watch the evening sun. The east patio has tables, chairs, loungers and BBQ.
There is wheelchair access if it is required and grab bars are fitted in the shower.
Guests will have sole use of the property with their own entrance.

There are shops and public houses serving food within walking distance, if you want to go further afield but not take the car there are regular busses that run through the village on the main street that will take you to Skipton, Ilkley, Leeds, Keighley. In Ilkley you can get trains to Leeds and Bradford. During the summer months there is a bus that runs to Grasington.

Other things to note
We welcome pets but because of the size of the property we limit the number to a maximum of 2. The front patio overlooking the gardens next door is fenced and there is a field to exercise dogs just outside the drive gate.

The space
The cottage is centrally heated with a newly installed combi boiler providing instantaneous hot water. The accomodation comprises a spacious contemporary kitchen with a dining area and a relaxing lounge with a Samsung smart TV, Sonos sound bar & real log burner.
There are three newly decorated bedrooms, one double,one superking and a single bedroom currently configured for use as a work space but has a single bed. The top floor master suite has uninterrupted breath-taking views of Ilkley Moor and the Wharfdale valley to wake up to. Both double bedrooms have an internet connected flat screen smart TV and the top floor room has an ensuite.
The ensuite and family bathrooms have been totally refurbished. The top floor ensuite has an electric pumped power shower, wash basin and WC.
The first floor bathroom has a shower, roll top Bath, washbasin and WC.
The cottage is served by a high speed broadband service. There is a dedicated parking space for a medium size car and a pretty garden with outside seating and BBQ.

The space
Entering this charming cottage, you will find the kitchen & dining area on the ground floor. The space is well laid out with everything required for cooking up your favourite holiday food with the convenience of an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and that all important dishwasher!
The traditional dining table is perfectly placed so everyone can be together to enjoy the chit chat and catch up on the day's adventures. You will also fine the log burning stove in this space along with comfy armchairs to relax by the roaring fire.

The sitting room is both comfortable and practical. Positioned on the first floor with lovely views out into the village Mainstreet, this relaxing space comes complete with sumptuous sofa and SMART TV.
The master double bedroom and separate twin room can be located on the second floor. Both rooms offer soft luxurious linens for that perfect night's sleep. Wardrobe and hanging space are a plenty.
The spacious family bathroom on the first floor offers a shower over bath, vanity unit and WC.

Addingham is a beautiful well kept, friendly village, Ideally situated for Weddings taking place at Bolton Abbey/Tithe Barn and Priest House/Barden Tower.
With excellent amenities it has everything needed for a long or short stay.
3 George Street is recorded as being the original school room situated in the centre of the oldest part of Addingham Village. It has its own designated parking space, entrance to the front of the cottage is accessed via a short non vehicle pedestrian only street.

The space
Although recently renovated and modernised throughout, this period cottage retains its rustic charm and many original features including exposed beams, lintels, ceiling areas and clever use of storage space. On three floors this well proportioned cottage flexibly sleeps 4 First floor Super King size bed, second floor double with small sofa bed and ground floor King size sofa bed.

The cottage has its own designated parking space for 1 vehicle, additional parking is in nearby car parks and street parking.
There is a regular bus and Taxi service to nearby Towns and villages linking with Train services to Ilkley, Skipton and Keighley. There are stunning countryside and river walks and plenty of cycle routes to explore.

Other things to note
Families with babies and children should be fully supervised. There are no specific child safety features eg. Door cupboard safety catches, wall plug socket covers or stair gates. There are stairs inside the property and steps in the garden area.
The Chiminea has no external safety guards.
Hot tub
So that guest do not pay for the hot tub within their booking fee if they do not use it, pre booking is required and a fee of £20 per night stay will be requested through the Airbnb site. £5-£10 reduction for for over 2 night stays and included for weekly plus stays.
The tub will generally be emptied, cleaned an refilled for each separate booking.
