Forge Cottage is a lovely, spacious property for two and can be found tucked away along a wynd between Masham market place and Park Street. A flagged patio path, with bistro furniture to enjoy sunny afternoons, leads from the wynd to the entrance which opens into a stylish modern kitchen with a central dining table. The kitchen is open plan and forms an L shape with the adjacent lounge which is centred on an inglenook fireplace with wood-burning stove, making it a cosy place to sit during the cooler months, and has a lofted ceiling with exposed beams open to the rafters. Off the lounge is a large bathroom with separate shower cubicle, washbasin and toilet.
A staircase rises from the kitchen to a comfy double bedroom with king size bed and en-suite shower, washbasin and toilet. The bedroom also has a beautiful, lofted ceiling with exposed beams and two roof windows which give a beautiful down-light in the daytime and a view of the moon and stars at night. The pointed stonework of the bedroom walls, external bathroom walls and the high-level gable walls in the lounge have been left exposed but have been painted. This gives a beautiful texture forming mosaics and shadow tones and patterns with the changing light during the day.

Park Street is one of the small roads leading from the market place with rows of finely built terraced cottages. As Park Street recedes from the market place it is joined from the west by Swinton Terrace which leads out to Masham Golf Club and the glories of Swinton Park.
Just before the junction with Swinton terrace is a short row of stone built terraced cottages sitting back from the roadway. Magnolia Cottage is a modern conversion snuggled in at the end of this short terrace. To the front of the cottage is a paved yard, shared by the adjoining cottage, with flower borders, a mature garden and ample room for parking.
Entry is to a hallway with a small utility alcove which leads through to the main lounge/dining room at the rear of the cottage. The lounge has a large patio door leading out to a pretty garden with lawn and flagged area to sit and enjoy the afternoon and evening sunshine. Off the lounge is a well fitted galley kitchen and also a wet room with shower, washbasin and toilet. Also from the main hallway to the front of the cottage is a double bedroom overlooking the yard and front garden. A stairway rises from the lounge to a second double bedroom built into the rafters with skylights which provide a warm natural glow to the room.

On the southern fringes of this ancient market town the Victorian terraces give way to 20th century detached homes in a peaceful setting with spacious gardens alongside Thorpe Road. Here on the very edge of the town stands Badger Garth and within its private grounds the recent development of Badgers Holt with a traditional exterior but built to very modern standards including all the refinements and benefits of modern design and technology.
Entry is to a very spacious fitted kitchen with a central island unit and an adjacent, convenient toilet with washbasin and external access to the rear patio. Off the kitchen through double doors is a large lounge/dining room which also has an external entry from the parking area. From the kitchen a stairway rises to a landing serving two double bedrooms one with a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room with washbasin and toilet, the other with a double bed, also a twin room and a shared bathroom with bath, showerhead, washbasin and toilet. All the upstairs rooms have skylights, a treat to watch the night stars and the en-suite and twin rooms also have windows.
To the side of the house is a gravel parking area and small lawned area, to the rear a private flagged patio which overlooks trees and open meadow towards Swinney Beck.

The lodge is a lovely cottage in a prime location in the Dales market town of Masham in Lower Wensleydale, close to the famous Black Sheep Brewery and the White Bear Hotel. The lodge interior has been completely renovated to a high standard leaving some original features like the old stable door and oak beams.
It is approximately 2 minutes walk from the market square, where market day takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Masham has some superb pubs and cafes and has many activities and shows throughout the year.
This cosy, little cottage is a fantastic spot for taking day trips to many famous places in the area, like Ripon, Harrogate, York, and the Yorkshire dales.
The lodge is equipped with smart TV, free wi-fi broadband access, washing machine/dryer, ironing board, iron, hair dryer and a fully equipped kitchen and a brand new bathroom.
Each bedroom has wardrobes and the single room has good drawer storage with all linens and towels provided. The living area has a comfortable sofa/bed that could be used for that extra guest who wants to come! (Just send me a request and we will provide extra bedding)

The space
Park street cottage is in a superb location situated just behind Masham market square.
Inside Park street cottage you will find a contemporary setting which softly compliments the original features of the property. On the ground floor, positioned at the front of the cottage is a fully equipped modern kitchen complete with all modern appliances and dining table. The cosy sitting room is situated at the rear of the cottage and features original wooden beams with a 42" television and an electric flame fire surrounded by a stone fire place.
On the first floor we have one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. The twin bedroom has the option of either two single beds or one double bed, please let us know which option you would prefer for your stay. The double bedroom has a wardrobe and the twin bedroom has a hanging rail with shelf. Both rooms have drawer space and again feature the charming chunky wooden beams.
Nestled between the two bedrooms is the family bathroom.
There is a small private, gravelled courtyard with table and chairs at the rear of the cottage, a lovely peaceful sitting area for the warmer months.
From the cottage you can easily walk to the local cafes, pubs, and famous Masham breweries, as well as the childrens park & tennis courts. You may even catch a local cricket tournament on a hot summers day!

Forge Cottage is a lovely, spacious property for two and can be found tucked away along a wynd between Masham market place and Park Street. A flagged patio path, with bistro furniture to enjoy sunny afternoons, leads from the wynd to the entrance which opens into a stylish modern kitchen with a central dining table. The kitchen is open plan and forms an L shape with the adjacent lounge which is centred on an inglenook fireplace with wood-burning stove, making it a cosy place to sit during the cooler months, and has a lofted ceiling with exposed beams open to the rafters. Off the lounge is a large bathroom with separate shower cubicle, washbasin and toilet.
A staircase rises from the kitchen to a comfy double bedroom with king size bed and en-suite shower, washbasin and toilet. The bedroom also has a beautiful, lofted ceiling with exposed beams and two roof windows which give a beautiful down-light in the daytime and a view of the moon and stars at night. The pointed stonework of the bedroom walls, external bathroom walls and the high-level gable walls in the lounge have been left exposed but have been painted. This gives a beautiful texture forming mosaics and shadow tones and patterns with the changing light during the day.

With arguably the best position in Masham, North Yorkshire, The Cottage, which forms part of a grand 18th Century Georgian House, has undergone a complete refurbishment to a very high standard. This stunning cottage, in a quiet corner of Masham next to the Church has everything you could possibly want as a base to enjoy your stay in North Yorkshire. The Owners have spent some time turning this lovely cottage into an inviting holiday retreat.

Brand new facilities which includes entrance hall to hang coats then upstairs to a lovely big sitting room and separate kitchen on first floor. Then upstairs to the second floor where there is a spacious twin bedroom overlooking owners private garden to the rear and a double bedroom on the front of the house overlooking the market square. There is shared good sized bathroom with bath and shower over. Just a note that there is no deep freeze so please don't bring frozen food. We can supply ice for drinks upon request.
There is no child equipment, ie stair gates, high chairs and cots and also no garden, so parents with children are advised to contact the owner before booking

The space
This cottage has been recently modernised and has had a new kitchen and bathroom installed as well as a new heating and hot water system and has been re-wired and decorated from top to bottom.
It has a new fully fitted kitchen with a range of base and eyelevel units, electric hob unit with an electric oven below and extractor fan above, built in fridge/freezer and dishwasher with plumbing for a washing machine.
The Sitting room is a good-sized room with large windows throwing in lots of light and space for a dining table.
Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms and a family bathroom with a built-in bath, separate shower cubicle, wash hand basin and wc.
There is no parking at the cottage but free parking in Silver Street and also parking in Masham market square.

In the heart of the bustling market town of Masham and named for Theakstons’ first ever pub, Black Bull Cottage was originally home to the brewery’s hardworking drayhorses. Nowadays the accommodation is a little more luxurious with two comfortable double en suite bedrooms, newly renovated sitting room and a well equipped kitchen dining room. Sensitively refurbished to blend original features with modern design, the emphasis is very much on comfort and relaxation. Welcome to your home from home!
The space
Black Bull Cottage is ideal for couples or families. The cosy, well appointed living room has comfy sofas, a large log burner and smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime. There's an additonal seating area for reading or board games and a record player if you want to bring some vinyl. We have left a few records from the market square for you to enjoy but there is also a bluetooth speaker if you prefer to stream your music. We have plenty of boardgames for the competitive guest and a selection of books for you to get stuck into.
The well appointed kitchen dining room is a perfect space to make the most of amazing local ingredients to rustle up culinary delights. If you prefer to let someone else cook the Kings Head and Bay Horse pubs both offer takeaway, and there's a great fish and chip shop in the square. Either way, we've left a small honesty bar if you fancy mixing a pre-dinner cocktail.
Heading upstairs you'll find two stylish double bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms. Duvets are hypoallergenic and we have a selection of hypoallergenic and duck down pillows. Mixing vintage finds with modern accents, the bedrooms are decorated in peaceful Farrow & Ball colours to help you have the most relaxing stay. The master en suite has a freestanding bath so you can enjoy a long soak after one of the many beautiful local walks, and the second en suite boasts a large walk-in shower.
There's another little reading nook upstairs if you want to sneak a moment for yourself.

Other things to note
Black Bull Cottage opens directly onto College Lane and there is no pavement or on-street parking. It's a very quiet lane only really used by residents, so no fast cars haring along. You may want to drive up to the cottage to unload your luggage, before driving around the corner to the Market Square where parking is available. It's a one minute walk from the cottage and the honesty box suggests a contribution of £1 per day.
Masham is a super dog-friendly town. Your furry friends are very welcome, at a fee of £15 per pet per stay. Please let us know if you intend to bring a pet with you and we can amend the booking accordingly.

Welcome to Cobblers Cottage, a charming two bedroom (both with ensuites) detached stone cottage tucked away in a secluded position in the heart of Masham.
A lot of thought has been put into the interior design of Cobblers to create a welcoming, warm and comfortable cottage so you can relax and enjoy your stay.
Cobblers has a secure South facing garden which is a wonderful place to enjoy sunny days and warm evenings.
We love dogs and have considered their needs.

The space
The cottage has undergone a complete refurbishment.
The Boot room includes a washer/dryer, sink, an area to hang coats, store boots & shoes and a downstairs WC with sink.
Through the sliding barn door into a high spec kitchen dining area. The kitchen is a wonderful space, and has plenty of utensils to make delicious meals using local ingredients. There are 2 butchers, greengrocers and a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays in the square. If you prefer to bring your own frozen food there is a freezer. The kitchen also includes a dishwasher, induction hob, microwave, oven, fridge, air-fryer, kettle and toaster.
The cosy sitting room is furnished with a really comfortable 'Loaf' sofa and armchairs, a wood burning fire and a smart TV.
Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms both with king size beds and ensuites. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is space to hang clothes in both bedrooms.
Outside, the secure south facing garden is a wonderful place to relax. Patio area with outdoor furniture to enjoy the sunny days and warm evenings.
A BBQ is provided.
The garden shed is secure and guests have access if they wish to store bikes and covered by CCTV.

There is a finger sign on the wall pointing you in the right direction down the alleyway. Go through the wooden gates and you have reached Cobblers Cottage.
A key store is located above the outside tap by the wooden fence. The code will be provided a couple of days before arrival.
This key opens the door next to the key store (Boot room door). Once in the house, a set of house keys are on the coat hook. Please use these for the duration of your stay.
Return the master key to the key store & close immediately (twiddle the numbers).

Up to 2 dogs are welcome. Please bring your own dog beds and don't let them on the furniture or beds. Make sure they're up to date with worming and flea treatment. No puppies.
There is no child equipment i.e. stair gate, high chairs and cots so parents with babies and children are advised to contact the host before booking.

Morton House fronts onto Park Street and with its 2 reception rooms and large farmhouse style kitchen/diner is just the ticket when sharing accommodation with family and friends - providing spaces to come together and space to be apart. The loft master suite is the full width of the house and you will feel the bygone age of the property as you slumber peacefully under the beamed roof.
The Stable Block was just that - a place for the animals in days gone by. Now it is an oasis of calm relaxed elegance in the open plan living/kitchen/diner on the ground floor, leading to the double en-suited bedroom. These rooms open to the garden for easy access all on one level (just the small threshold to cross). Upstairs the further 2 bedrooms make this property great for sharing as there is an additional shower room up here too.

This is a Grade 2 listed farmhouse and attached Stable Block - the property is over several levels and there are steps in the main house. The downstairs area of The Stable Block is all one level including the double bedroom and walk in shower is suitable for 'limited mobility' but please note we are not fully disabled accessible.
We are located in a quiet residential area - please respect our neighbours by parking your vehicle appropriately and keeping noise to appropriate levels.
We will request a £200 refundable security deposit to be paid directly to us within 7 days prior to arrival. This will be returned to you within 7 days of departing the property in good clean order.
