A flagged patio path, with bistro furniture to enjoy sunny afternoons, leads from the wynd to the entrance which opens into a stylish modern kitchen with a central dining table. Mistle House is an interesting conversion of a former mistle or cow byre and its associated grain stores which stands in open countryside between the villages of Laverton and Galphay. Entry to the rear of the cottage is through a tiled hallway which serves as a utility and cloakroom plus adjoining fully tiled shower room and toilet. Down two small steps from the hallway is a spacious fitted kitchen, a further four steps take you down to a low level dining room which is only partially separated from the kitchen so that conversation can continue between chef and diner. Off the dining room is a bedroom with both a double and single bed. From the kitchen double doors lead to a spacious lounge including feature stonework and a wood-burning stove with stone hearth. An external door from the lounge leads down five stone steps to a patio area and lawn.

A stairway rises from the dining room to a spacious bedroom with king-size bed and skylights to watch the stars and half tiled bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, washbasin and toilet. There are external stone steps from the garden to the bedroom which are a remnant from the days when grain was carried to the loft but are still accessible today. To the side and front of the house is a large lawn and gravelled area overlooking open rolling countryside.

The lodge is a lovely cottage in a prime location in the Dales market town of Masham in Lower Wensleydale, close to the famous Black Sheep Brewery and the White Bear Hotel. The lodge interior has been completely renovated to a high standard leaving some original features like the old stable door and oak beams.

It is approximately 2 minutes walk from the market square, where market day takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Masham has some superb pubs and cafes and has many activities and shows throughout the year.

This cosy, little cottage is a fantastic spot for taking day trips to many famous places in the area, like Ripon, Harrogate, York, and the Yorkshire dales.

The lodge is equipped with smart TV, free wi-fi broadband access, washing machine/dryer, ironing board, iron, hair dryer and a fully equipped kitchen and a brand new bathroom.

This stone cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway. Set in the village of Grewelthorpe, there's a welcoming pub 1 minute away and lovely walks straight from the door. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is within easy reach of historic North Yorkshire towns. It is a great place to curl up in front of the woodburner after a day of exploring.

The space
3 Crown Courtyard is a cosy and comfortable, newly renovated mid-terrace stone cottage. It is situated in the pretty Yorkshire Dales village of Grewelthorpe, in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). There are great walks and cycle rides from the door. Grewelthorpe is conveniently located for visiting North Yorkshire’s many attractions.

Downstairs, the open plan living room and kitchen provide versatile accommodation. The living area includes a wood burning stove, a comfortable leather sofa, a smart television with Freesat channels, and dining area. The well equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, a newly fitted hob, oven and grille, toaster, microwave, kettle and a great view of St. James’s Church! Wifi is available throughout.

Upstairs, the newly fitted bathroom has a large shower, toilet, wash basin, and a heated towel rail. The calm and relaxing bedroom features a comfortable double bed, a large built in wardrobe, a stylish dressing table and access to the airing cupboard. A chest of drawers is located nearby on the landing.

Outside, a bench is provided to enjoy the small south facing terrace. An allocated parking space is available. The cottage is conveniently located one minute away from the Crown Inn. Please note the Inn is currently closed but expected to reopen early in 2025.

Grewelthorpe is a small but lively village, with a picturesque duck pond and village hall with a café that opens daily. The footpath to the popular ancient Hackfall Woods leads directly from the cottage. This provides easy access to a network of scenic footpaths. Also in Grewelthorpe is the Himalayan Sculpture Garden.

Grewelthorpe lies between the unspoilt market town of Masham (4 miles away) and the historic city of Ripon (7 miles). Also easily accessible by car are the popular spa town of Harrogate and high street of the year in Pateley Bridge. Park street cottage is a cosy two bedroomed, end terraced self catering holiday home situated in the pretty market town of Masham in the Yorkshire Dales.

The cottage has a contemporary interior whilst still retaining the original beams and features making it a homely and comfortable place to stay.

An ideal place to stay for families, couples or individuals who enjoy the fresh country air.

The space
Park street cottage is in a superb location situated just behind Masham market square.

Inside Park street cottage you will find a contemporary setting which softly compliments the original features of the property. On the ground floor, positioned at the front of the cottage is a fully equipped modern kitchen complete with all modern appliances and dining table. The cosy sitting room is situated at the rear of the cottage and features original wooden beams with a 42" television and an electric flame fire surrounded by a stone fire place.

On the first floor we have one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. The twin bedroom has the option of either two single beds or one double bed, please let us know which option you would prefer for your stay. The double bedroom has a wardrobe and the twin bedroom has a hanging rail with shelf. Both rooms have drawer space and again feature the charming chunky wooden beams.

Nestled between the two bedrooms is the family bathroom.

There is a small private, gravelled courtyard with table and chairs at the rear of the cottage, a lovely peaceful sitting area for the warmer months.

From the cottage you can easily walk to the local cafes, pubs, and famous Masham breweries, as well as the childrens park & tennis courts. You may even catch a local cricket tournament on a hot summers day!

The cottage keys are located in a key lock box at the property, you will receive the access code in your welcome email. You will also receive a welcome pack via email which presents itself with arrival & departure info, eating out recommendations and things to do locally in Masham.

Our attractive one bed cottage has an outdoor sunken patio kitchen area with charcoal BBQ and a raised decking area. A cosy home from home, with a touch of luxury! Set at the bottom of our garden, but totally self contained with parking for one vehicle. Kirkby Malzeard is a small traditional village set in the Nidderdale AONB. Perfectly placed to be your 'Gateway to the Dales', whilst also conveniently located for visits to Harrogate and York, it's your town & country location rolled into one!

Our cottage was completely refurbished 'as new' in September 2018. It has underfloor heating with limestone tiles adorning the Kitchen and Wet-room/Toilet floors and walls. The fully fitted Kitchen is complete with Dishwasher, Washer/tumble-dryer, Fridge-freezer, Ceramic Hob, Microwave, Warming Drawer and a 'hide and slide' Neff Oven', not forgetting the necessary Toaster and Kettle! Mood lighting has been installed around the cottage, including a designer pendant light in the Kitchen/Diner creating a cosy atmosphere for dining at the glass topped table.

Carpeted stairs lead directly from the Kitchen to the 'loft-style' Bedroom, where we have installed a King Size Bed, a Dressing Table with ample drawers and a Wardrobe hanging space. All of our Bedding is of a high quality, and luxury Robes and Towels are provided during your stay. A Hairdryer and portable Electric Fan, with a wall-mounted TV are also there for your use. (Please note: there is no closing door or child safety-gate fitted to the top or bottom of the stairway which is why we can't accept your children.)

The cosy carpeted Lounge has a Wood-Burning Stove, but the cottage also has Radiators fitted in every room and heated Towel Rails in both Wet-room and Toilet.

Free WiFi is included for the duration of your stay. Please be aware that mobile reception can be intermittent depending on your network. The Lounge has a TV and Sound Bar with a selection of CD's and DVD's and a range of books and games to entertain you! Netflix, YouTube & Amazon prime are installed and there is a Firestick with each TV for the internet.

If you like walking, you will love Thump Cottage. The narrow Back Lane is bordered by fields and footpaths, so you can start a country walk right from your your front door! In the lounge, you will also find a great range of walking books, local OS maps, and general reference books for you to enjoy during your stay.

The Lounge Patio Door gives access to the outdoor sunken garden area with BBQ.. This area also houses a wood-fired Pizza Oven which can only be used in the summer months and when good weather conditions allow. This oven needs a certain amount of experience to manage. It take 2.5 hours to reach cooking temperature and can only be used under our direct supervision - which we are happy to provide when we are available. So prior arrangement for this is essential. A small fee will be levied for fresh pizza bases (dough balls) and extra wood provided.

For enjoying those summer days there are high glass-topped tables and chairs outside. In addition, folding canvas chairs are stored in the Kitchen. We have installed fixed Chains and Locks for your Bike security and waterproof Bike Covers are also provided.

The upper-decking, accessed by the garden steps, gives you great views over the fields at the rear. There is a table and chairs with a hanging heat-lamp to keep you warm and illuminated as dusk falls! The upper decking fencing is adorned with coloured festoon lighting on a time-switch. This area is great in the morning too for enjoying your breakfast in the sunshine!

Finally, there is a Welcome Folder giving full details of all the cottage facilities and local amenities and also a Visitors Book for all your comments.

We have a ginger tabby cat called Rita who is lovely but was feral and, as such, is frightened of most people, so you may not see her.

Whereas, there is the famous Harry, a black cat who belongs to a close neighbour, who is maybe the friendliest cat ever! So, please just check the cottage before you depart, in case Harry has decided to take up some home comforts! Harry is his own cat and does not take our advice (!) so if you don't like cats or are allergic, do feel free to shoo him away - he won't be offended!

The space
Forge Cottage is a lovely, spacious property for two and can be found tucked away along a wynd between Masham market place and Park Street. A flagged patio path, with bistro furniture to enjoy sunny afternoons, leads from the wynd to the entrance which opens into a stylish modern kitchen with a central dining table. The kitchen is open plan and forms an L shape with the adjacent lounge which is centred on an inglenook fireplace with wood-burning stove, making it a cosy place to sit during the cooler months, and has a lofted ceiling with exposed beams open to the rafters. Off the lounge is a large bathroom with separate shower cubicle, washbasin and toilet.

A staircase rises from the kitchen to a comfy double bedroom with king size bed and en-suite shower, washbasin and toilet. The bedroom also has a beautiful, lofted ceiling with exposed beams and two roof windows which give a beautiful down-light in the daytime and a view of the moon and stars at night. The pointed stonework of the bedroom walls, external bathroom walls and the high-level gable walls in the lounge have been left exposed but have been painted. This gives a beautiful texture forming mosaics and shadow tones and patterns with the changing light during the day.

Parking is directly outside the accommodation on a gated driveway. Self contained, self catering for 4 guests with the option of pulling out the trundle bed and sleeping 5 in total. We are situated between two working farms. The fields are grazed by a few different breeds of sheep and cattle including Herdwick and Highland. On site we have horses, goats, a few chickens and two friendly dogs.

Other things to note
Our dogs, Willow and Nuala, will bark to announce your arrival and want to say a friendly hello. This involves licking!. We know this is 'not for everyone'. They are Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, both girls are friendly and loves fuss.

There is shared good sized bathroom with bath and shower over. Just a note that there is no deep freeze so please don't bring frozen food. We can supply ice for drinks upon request.

There is no child equipment, ie stair gates, high chairs and cots and also no garden, so parents with children are advised to contact the owner before booking

Thompson's cottage is located in the garden of our family home, with parking in front of the village hall, (next door)
The cottage is a cosy space with a modern feel, comprising of one main living area with a king size bed, seating for 2, a small but well equipped kitchen and a pull out table, a modern stylish bathroom with large shower. Sawley is quiet village, within the Nidderdale AONB, and is a great central location for exploring the area, on bike, foot or by car.

The space
The cottage is located in Sawley, near Ripon.
We have a lovely selection of pubs in the area, from just around the corner or villages near by.
We allow dogs. Please bring food, water bowls and towel for drying off soggy doggies.
Extra storage for bikes on request.

There is an outside tap to wash off muddy paws or dirty boots please remove dirty/wet boots or shoes before entering the cottage.
The cottage is situated in our family garden, so doesn’t have its own private garden, but there is room at the front of the cottage to sit out and enjoy sun, outdoor table and chairs provided.

The cottage had plenty of parking, in front of the village hall.
Having a car is essential as we are not near public transport links or shops.

Bring your bikes! It’s a fabulous way to get around the area and enjoy the scenery we have to offer.
Access to the cottage will sent in a separate message nearer your check in date.

Other things to note
The cottage is only small, (but bigger then a camping pod/shepherds hut) and unfortunately it doesn’t have its own private garden. BUT does have a fantastic large village green to enjoy, and a beautiful wildlife garden just in front of the cottage, and footpaths straight into the fields.
The cottage is set up for 2 people only.
A few couples have managed to bring a small baby and cot, BUT you must let me know.

There may be times where there’s an event in the hall, so parking might be busier, if ever unsure about parking, just shout. I will always try to pre warn guests if there is an event on where parking might be an issues. But it doesn’t happen very often.

Welcome to Duck Hill Cottage, a 3 bedroom property in the heart of Ripon with allocated parking, fast WIFI and Netflix. Perfect for those either visiting the area for work or to experience all of the delights Ripon has to offer or even those venturing out to the Yorkshire Dales

The space
Duck Hill Cottage is a large semi-detached property in Ripon city centre. Not many other properties in the area are able to accommodate 6 people and can boast as having allocated parking.

You enter the cottage from the rear (next to the single allocated parking space). The entrance leads into the Utility Room which houses the washing machine. This room also doubles up as a boot room, ideal for those visiting on hiking holidays.

Heading straight through the Utility Room, you will find a small bedroom on the right with a single bed and next to that is a larger double bedroom.

Turning immediately left from the Utility Room, you enter the Kitchen / Dining area which has a large country dining table with seating for 6. There is a newly installed kitchen with an integrated dishwasher and cooker. in addition, there is a fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and all of the cutlery, crockery and utensils you will need for your stay. There is also an additional seating area in the corner of the Dining Room.

Heading through the Dining Room, there is a small toilet to your left and a Sitting Room comprising of two large sofas and a large, wall mounted Smart TV with Netflix pre-loaded.

Next to the Sitting Room you will find the stairs leading up to the first floor which houses the main bathroom. The bathroom has recently been renovated and contains a large shower, bath, toilet and basin.

Next to the bathroom is the main bedroom which has a king size bed as well as a single day bed.

There is a key box at the property and access codes will be sent on the morning of check in.
