Traditional small stone cottage fully refurbished to a high standard. Beautiful romantic bedroom with French double bed & stunning views. The shower room does form part of the bedroom but is separated by a wall (see photos) but no door - there is a curtain which can be put up for extra privacy if required. Great pubs and food within walking distance and also some beautiful walks including the picturesque Dovestone reservoir and canal.

There is a secure 2 acre, 6 foot fenced field for private use available 500m away - My Dog Field (separate pre-booking required.

Not in this case - everything was spotless including all elements of the kitchen, the bedroom, the bathroom and the external areas. We particularly loved the sparkling tiles in the bathroom. When away, we always look for a comfortable bed, a shower that works properly and good internet. 10 out of 10 in all areas. The little terrace was a super little sun trap and there was sufficient safe space for the dog around the house. We also found some amazing walks on the doorstep and the two of Delph had some lovely little pubs that were very welcoming. Our only minor concern, but that does absolutely not impact the rating, was the access road, which is quite steep. Our car is not suited to this and struggled. We would definitely return over the winter, but for this. However, we do intend to return in the spring when the weather is more predictable."
