- "Terrible communication before arrival led to delayed check in and was the cause of great frustration after a long drive. No understanding or apology from the property management, completely opposite response from hotels.com who did their best to resolve the issue and were very understanding. Entering the property we discovered a loudly beeping smoke alarm which we had to take down and remove the battery to stop the annoying sound. The property needs some maintenance, a broken cupboard door in the kitchen, the shower hose leaks. The shower is poor quality and has very low pressure and the cubicle is small for what is quite a spacious property. No lamp shade on the ceiling light in the main bedroom and no bedside lights. Poorly equipped with crockery and cutlery. The property has potential to be a very pleasant place to stay but clearly the management show little interest in maintaining it to a high standard. The pictures and description flatter to deceive. The overall attitude of the property management was unacceptable."

- "I stayed the week at this property, it was mostly clean, a few little things that could’ve been a little cleaner but on the whole good value for money. The main concern for me was on arrival and if not for a resident leaving the property and giving me contact details for the landlord, I would have been pretty much stuffed as Expedia was about as much use as a chocolate teapot to be frank." - "Cheap, furniture look like second hand, chairs are coming off onto pieces. - "Another lower than expected stay when using hotels.com. The value does not reconcile to the experience, location and satisfaction. This property was one of three former residential. Thankfully it was one of three and the others were empty because on arrival the door to the property had leaves and debris that looked like it had been stored for sometime. The bedroom handle in this one bedroom bungalow was broken and prevented access to this area. The host was receptive and arranged access to the other property which was a little bigger. The condition of the property we stayed in would do well to have a health check on things like light switches and sockets working intermittently and not at all. Sky box in property but no remote. The location proved difficult for a local takeaway to find and they are 4 mins away. The host was pleasant but the property is over priced to represent good value. It served it’s purpose to break up the journey. "
