The Old Dairy and Stables are luxury converted farm buildings with wifi, underfloor heating, big open log fire, luxury bathrooms, high ceilings and original beams with stone and wood floors throughout. There are lots of original features and it has been tastefully decorated throughout.

We are ideally located between Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury and Stourhead to explore the surrounding area with Longleat right on our doorstep. If looking for a more relaxing holiday there are lots of country walks right from the front door.

We want you to feel that this is your home from home while you are staying. Therefore you have full access to the property and the lawns and paths around the mill pond. Wifi is included and it's super-cosy.

The living room and kitchen are set on the same level but there is a step from the patio into the kitchen door. From the kitchen there is one step down into the boot room where there is a toilet. Also off the kitchen is the hallway to the bedrooms with 2 separate single steps to the first bedroom and family bathroom. Another single step to the middle bedroom and a final single step into the master bedroom. The en-suite in this bedroom has a single step up. Each bedroom has a door opening into the patio.

There is plenty of room for car parking around the property for a number of vehicles.

We live in the main farmhouse a hundred or so meters away so you can enjoy your stay with privacy and peace & quite nestled in the countryside, but are always nearby and happy to help with any problems or questions.

Whether you are into doing nothing, cycling, walking, shopping, exploring or whatever; this property and its location ticks all the boxes.

We are dog friendly! We have 2 lovely friendly labradoodles who will want to make friends with your dogs if you choose to bring them. We just ask that dogs do not go on the beds or sofas.

Comfortable and well-kept studio with a view of the garden and the sound of the mill stream. It's a very peaceful spot. The sofa bed is comfortable and the kitchen area includes a two-ring hob and microwave / convection oven. No TV but the WiFi (or ethernet if prefered) is quick.

There's a dedicated patio area with seating for whenever the weather is good.

Our village has a shop and a pub, five minutes up the hill. There are plenty of good walks on the edge of Salisbury Plain. Stonehenge in one direction and Bath in the other are both about 45 minutes away. Longleat is 25 minutes away.

We're happy to pick up from Westbury Station. Let us know if you want information on local pubs and restaurants, attractions nearby or anything else. We’d prefer check in between 15:00 and 21:00 and check out by 11:00, but let us know if you need to check in or out outside these times.

The Space

This lovely 2 bedroom end of Terrace family home offers comfortable accommodation, tastefully decorated, providing all modern amenities and more besides.
On arrival park your car easily in the large off road parking area. The house benefits from an entrance porch for storing pushchairs and muddy boots! With a further fully lockable front door into the property for your added security & to keep little ones contained.
Into the hallway with kitchen and stairs leading to the first floor and on into the spacious lounge/diner.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with all electrical appliances and a washing machine for your use if required.
The recently decorated lounge with wall mounted TV, opens out into a lovely space with the wall benefiting from fabulous large bio fold doors that, on sunny days can be opened up to enjoy the private patio area and outdoor space, complete with a picnic table perfect for Al Fresco dining or a glass of something refreshing.
Upstairs are 2 Guest bedrooms. The Master bedroom has storage & comes with a King size bed and the 2nd Bedroom has 2 single beds & Wall Mounted TV. There is a lovely, recently renovated bathroom with pedestal bath with a shower over, WC, wash hand basin & heated towel rail.
The property is heated with electric radiators which are individually
thermostatically controlled for comfort in every room.
The plug sockets also benefit from USB chargers for your added convenience just remember your cables!
We can also provide a high chair and travel cot if required, at time of booking.
The entire house is yours to enjoy.

In the secure, private garden there is a large garden pond stocked with Koi & other fish. There is fencing and a gate beyond the patio & smaller lawned area, for our guests safety and we would ask that you ensure small children are accompanied at all times if you decide to use the large lawned area beyond the gate near the pond.
The property is an end of terrace with a 6 ft fence around the large sunny garden and on the other side of the fence is a large grassy bank high up from the B3098, Bratton Road below, so there is no disturbance from the road.

The Shepherds Hut on the lake is set in the woods overlooking the main lake. ‘Florence’ has a double queen sized bed, a small dresser with coffee/tea making facilities and a small sofa/pew at the end of the bed. There is a Freeview TV in the hut, and a mini-fridge. SHE HAS THE CUTEST TWO PERSON HOT TUB AND SMALL DECK.

There is electricity in the hut and it has a small oil-fired heater for those winter months.

Outside there is a seating area.

There is a separate WC and wash room close by which is exclusively for the Hut, but guests can also enjoy the main campsite wet rooms and toilets situated close-by. The site also has a launderette.

There is a kettle provided together with bedding and towels in the tariff.

Fishing permits are available from reception. There is a full cafe and licensed bar on site, with a small shop.
