The Old Dairy and Stables are luxury converted farm buildings with wifi, underfloor heating, big open log fire, luxury bathrooms, high ceilings and original beams with stone and wood floors throughout. There are lots of original features and it has been tastefully decorated throughout.

We are ideally located between Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury and Stourhead to explore the surrounding area with Longleat right on our doorstep. If looking for a more relaxing holiday there are lots of country walks right from the front door.

We want you to feel that this is your home from home while you are staying. Therefore you have full access to the property and the lawns and paths around the mill pond. Wifi is included and it's super-cosy.

The living room and kitchen are set on the same level but there is a step from the patio into the kitchen door. From the kitchen there is one step down into the boot room where there is a toilet. Also off the kitchen is the hallway to the bedrooms with 2 separate single steps to the first bedroom and family bathroom. Another single step to the middle bedroom and a final single step into the master bedroom. The en-suite in this bedroom has a single step up. Each bedroom has a door opening into the patio.

There is plenty of room for car parking around the property for a number of vehicles.

We live in the main farmhouse a hundred or so meters away so you can enjoy your stay with privacy and peace & quite nestled in the countryside, but are always nearby and happy to help with any problems or questions.

Whether you are into doing nothing, cycling, walking, shopping, exploring or whatever; this property and its location ticks all the boxes.

We are dog friendly! We have 2 lovely friendly labradoodles who will want to make friends with your dogs if you choose to bring them. We just ask that dogs do not go on the beds or sofas.

Comfortable and well-kept studio with a view of the garden and the sound of the mill stream. It's a very peaceful spot. The sofa bed is comfortable and the kitchen area includes a two-ring hob and microwave / convection oven. No TV but the WiFi (or ethernet if prefered) is quick.

There's a dedicated patio area with seating for whenever the weather is good.

Our village has a shop and a pub, five minutes up the hill. There are plenty of good walks on the edge of Salisbury Plain. Stonehenge in one direction and Bath in the other are both about 45 minutes away. Longleat is 25 minutes away.

We're happy to pick up from Westbury Station. Let us know if you want information on local pubs and restaurants, attractions nearby or anything else. We’d prefer check in between 15:00 and 21:00 and check out by 11:00, but let us know if you need to check in or out outside these times.

Upstairs are 2 Guest bedrooms. The Master bedroom has storage & comes with a King size bed and the 2nd Bedroom has 2 single beds & Wall Mounted TV. There is a lovely, recently renovated bathroom with pedestal bath with a shower over, WC, wash hand basin & heated towel rail.
The property is heated with electric radiators which are individually

In the secure, private garden there is a large garden pond stocked with Koi & other fish. There is fencing and a gate beyond the patio & smaller lawned area, for our guests safety and we would ask that you ensure small children are accompanied at all times if you decide to use the large lawned area beyond the gate near the pond.
The property is an end of terrace with a 6 ft fence around the large sunny garden and on the other side of the fence is a large grassy bank high up from the B3098, Bratton Road below, so there is no disturbance from the road.

Parking is a short walk from the parking area - max 400 meters from car - trolleys are available to assist with taking your belongings to your accommodation - but given that guests access their lodges via a raised board walk, we are unable to offer parking near the accommodation to save for the environment and biodiversity surrounding the lakes. This also includes the woodland lodges - they are a short walk to their accommodation in to the woodland area - again access via a raised board walk but max walking distance is about 100 meters or so.

Due to the exciting developments on site, we will be soon upgrading all our central services including our cafe area. Unfortunately for the moment (excluding peak times such as October half term / Christmas) the cafe will remain closed.

We are fortunate to have some lovely local pubs and farm shops all serving quality food in the near vicinity as well as well stocked supermarkets within a 5/10-minute drive. There are also take aways that deliver to site, so hopefully that covers all basis while the cafe is closed.

There may be some temporary disruptions due to essential maintenance work for the purpose of development and expansion of the park for new Lodges to be sited.

These works are scheduled to take place from Monday 3rd November until Thursday 20th November inclusively, between the hours of 10 am - 4pm not including weekends. However there may be circumstances beyond my control that work may need to exceed outside of these times.

The park is ideally located for exploring some of Wiltshire’s most famous attractions. Within easy reach, you’ll find the historic Longleat Estate, the mystical Stonehenge, and the charming villages of Lacock and Avebury. The stunning cities of Bath and Salisbury, both rich in history and culture, are also just a short drive away, offering plenty of opportunities for sightseeing, dining, and shopping.

Fairwood Lakes is packed with family-friendly features, including a mini-golf course, a mud kitchen, and plenty of outdoor activities to keep everyone entertained. For those interested in fishing, the well-stocked lakes are a perfect spot to cast a line. During the summer holidays, the park hosts a range of exciting events, providing entertainment for all ages. Parking is a short walk from the parking area - max 400 meters from car - trolleys are available to assist with taking your belongings to your accommodation - but given that guests access their lodges via a raised board walk, we are unable to offer parking near the accommodation to save for the environment and biodiversity surrounding the lakes. This also includes the woodland lodges - they are a short walk to their accommodation in to the woodland area - again access via a raised board walk but max walking distance is about 100 meters or so.

Due to the exciting developments on site, we will be soon upgrading all our central services including our cafe area. Unfortunately for the moment (excluding peak times such as October half term / Christmas) the cafe will remain closed.

We are fortunate to have some lovely local pubs and farm shops all serving quality food in the near vicinity as well as well stocked supermarkets within a 5/10-minute drive. There are also take aways that deliver to site, so hopefully that covers all basis while the cafe is closed.

There may be some temporary disruptions due to essential maintenance work for the purpose of development and expansion of the park for new Lodges to be sited.

These works are scheduled to take place from Monday 3rd November until Thursday 20th November inclusively, between the hours of 10 am - 4pm not including weekends. However there may be circumstances beyond my control that work may need to exceed outside of these times.

While we are taking every possible step to minimize any inconvenience, there may be some noise during these times. We truly appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to improve our site and facilities for your future comfort.

Beautifully decorated and privately positioned by the Little Lake at Fairwood, Jackdaw features a two-person hot tub, master bedroom with king size bed and a roll-top bath overlooking the Little Lake, and a twin bunk bedroom for the children. This unique 38-foot lodge is home to a cute kitchen in reclaimed wood, a log-effect wood burning stove and separate shower room with WC. It also enjoys its own car parking space and private patio. Please note, our lodges are not pet-friendly for the comfort of all our guests.
