Welcome to our much loved home, ‘The Tea Barn’ as we like to call it. It was a self build project & hopefully shows all the love and pride we have put into it. We have added charm and character to the property, to provide for a cosy, relaxed get away! We are located in a small quiet village between the towns of Westbury & Trowbridge. The local pub 'The Royal Oak' is just a few steps away. We believe that this is a perfect base to travel from for days out, then back to relax in the small garden!

The space
We live at home, but our guests are welcome to stay in the private, detached guest suite. There is a private entrance, plenty of space to park and a small private part of our garden to sit and relax in. We are close enough if our guests need anything but at a distance to maintain privacy.
The guest suite is on the first floor, over the garage, so there are stairs up to it and sleeps two very comfortably. There is a separate bedroom with a king size bed and ample storage, and en-suite shower room. Bed linen and towels are provided, there is also soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. A radio alarm clock, iron and ironing board and hair dryer are also provided for your use.
The remaining space provides for a spacious living area to relax in, with a 43" smartTV (including Netflix) , there’s a dining area, and a good sized kitchenette to prepare food (although NO OVEN OR HOB). The area is designed for the basic making of your meals, there is a microwave, kettle, toaster, egg poacher, cafetiere, fridge/freezer and all crockery and cutlery etc. provided. We will include a breakfast welcome pack on arrival with cereals, milk, juice, tea and coffee, to make your first morning here easier.
If you wanted to use the accommodation for business purposes, we have supplied an area with a desk and have free Wi-Fi for all our guests. For someone on business trips the West Wilts Trading estate and the White Horse Business Park are about a 3 minutes drive away, making this an ideal base.
This is a non smoking area inside, but guests are welcome to smoke outside in the garden.

Guest access
There is a key safe, so check in times are flexible after 3pm and the check out time is any time before 10am. The code for the key safe will be sent to you prior to arrival. If you plan to arrive earlier or need to check out later, please ask and depending on bookings we will try to accommodate you.

Other things to note
The property is on the first floor, accessed by a stair case, so unsuitable for wheelchair users or people with walking disabilities.
Unfortunately there is no stair gate, so if you want to bring a child as your 2nd guest, then please ensure that they can climb stairs safely and easily, thank you.

Little Acorn is a beautifully presented 2 bedroom (1 Double & 1 Twin) self catering holiday home. The property is completely private with it's own garden and secure parking for 2 cars or vans beneath an oak car port, right outside the door. Very useful for families with bicycles etc. & work vehicles. Situated in a beautiful countryside location on the Wiltshire/Somerset border close to Frome 5 miles, Longleat 9 miles, Historic City of Bath 12 miles, Stonehenge 19 miles, Bristol & much more.

The space
Little Acorn is in a pretty, quiet and safe, countryside location. We're about 13 miles from the City of Bath & 5 miles from Frome. The local pub, the Full Moon Rudge, is less than a mile walk for a drink or a meal with a beautiful garden overlooking The White Horse. There are plenty of taxis available if you'd like to take advantage of the many great local pubs and restaurants in surrounding villages. Little Acorn has it’s own entrance, garden and parking. There are two comfortable bedrooms. A double with TV & Freeview, a twin bedroom, sitting room with dining table, comfy sofa, flat screen TV & DVD Player. Guests like that the double bedroom and twin room are well separated for privacy. They also like the private garden and covered parking area right outside the front door, making life easy for unloading the car. On entering the apartment the twin bedroom is to the right of the entrance hall. Left of the entrance hall is the sitting / dining room followed by the kitchen, the shower room and then the double bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, oven & hob, fridge/freezer, plenty of cupboard space & a comfy armchair. There is a good sized shower room with marble tiled power shower. The double bedroom is light & airy & both bedrooms overlook the garden. Private parking is for 2 cars / vans beneath the oak car port & plenty of extra parking if needed. There is a garden for al fresco dining. It is enclosed and safe for children to toddle in and out of the cottage. There are lots of country pubs and walks nearby. Many guests comment that they are surprised that the Acorn is much bigger than it looks on the photos! Guests appreciate that their vehicles can be parked securely. We're also on the popular Wiltshire cycling route & local walks & bridle paths.

The space
Apple Tree View is a peaceful, seperate annexe that sits in our garden, with views to all our apple trees and roses reaching up to the windows. It is a stylish space to stay, with all amenities to make your visit relaxing and comfortable.

The large studio room has a luxurious king-size bed with premium linens, a seating and dining area and smart tv and full fibre WiFi. There's light all day in this south-facing room and views into our garden, which is shared with Apple Tree View. We're off any main road, so it's incredibly peaceful and quiet and you can truly relax throughout your stay.

The separate kitchen is fully stocked and has full tea and coffee-making facilities. There's a convection microwave and fridge freezer for your use, as well as a small fresh loaf sourced from our wonderful local farm shop, The Three Daggers, in the next village.

The luxurious shower room has just been renovated with beautiful terrazzo tiling and spacious shower. Soft towels and extra soaps are available for your visit.

There is private off-street parking on the drive, and use of the patio and it's furniture if the weather allows!

Apple Tree View is dog-friendly to small/medium sized, well-behaved dogs. It has to be because as we share the garden you'll have little choice to meet our show cocker spaniel, whose love language is belly rubs.

We're perfectly located for visiting many of the historic highlights of the West Country. From the regency splendour of Bath, to the magnificent Stonehenge, the engineering prowess of the Kennet & Avon Canal, or the treasures of Longleat - all are accessible!

Apple Tree View sits within our garden and as such shares the space with us. You have access from shared side gate by the private drive.

You are welcome to have dedicated use of the patio space right next to the annexe and general use of the lawn nearest to your door.

Glorious spring has arrived and the peaceful Wiltshire countryside has much to offer! There are beautiful walks to be had on the Salisbury Plain, at Stourhead, at Lacock Abbey to name but three and the cosy Bothy to come back to. Beautifully decorated, with a light airy feel and old pine flooring, it sits in our peaceful garden and has uninterrupted views of a charming, secluded Combe. For walkers, or anyone wishing to explore the West Country (and Bath) this is an ideal location.

The space
We have poured a lot of love into our Bothy, and we feel it shows! It is beautifully but simply done with great lighting, fine linen, old pine floors and white, tongue-and-groove walls. The space is very relaxing and pleasant to be in and the views out the window will make you want to never leave.

We will provide milk, coffee, tea and eggs from our chickens (when available!) as well as a starter gift pack.

Tinhead is named after the hill on Salisbury Plain that overlooks the Three Daggers Pub. It’s a lovely, cosy bedroom with high vaulted ceilings and that can be arranged either as a twin or a double bedroom. Tinhead has with it’s own private bathroom across the hall.

Tinhead is the perfect bolt-hole or additional children’s room to add to your stay.

One of three beautifully appointed rooms above The Three Daggers pub our Tinhead guests have access to a large lounge area dedicated for our guests. The Pub itself has held 2AA Rosettes for Culinary Excellence since 2020 and was awarded outright England Pub of the Year in 2020.

As one of the rooms in the award-winning Three Daggers Inn it couldn’t be simpler to book a table at the pub and enjoy a pint at the bar, brewed onsite in our own brewery. The Three Daggers Farm Shop next door has a range of food from fresh produce to picnic favourites; sausage rolls, scotch eggs, pies and salads. As well as drinks, crisps, and cakes you'll also find a well stocked gift shop and freshly made coffee.

We also can offer you the ultimate in relaxation with massage and wellness treatments in the Wellness Barn, located across the road from the Three Daggers.

Steeped in history, our little spot of Wiltshire has much to offer the hobbyist historian. Above the Three Daggers, take a quick hike to Salisbury Plain and the historic site of the Battle of Ethandun. You will also step past Neolithic Long Barrows left from the time of Stonehenge, Iron Age Hill Forts, a medieval priory and dozens of 18th and 19th century buildings. In later years, the nearby area and village of Imber was repurposed as a training ground for American troops preparing for the battles of World War II and remains an active training ground today. Nearby Keevil Airfield was also the launching point for many SOE agents to parachute into occupied Europe and played its part in D-Day.
