Laundry Information – Please Read

The washing machine at home is only available for guests staying one week or longer. For shorter stays, unfortunately, it’s not possible to use it, as I need it to wash and dry linen and towels to prepare for incoming guests. These are standard home machines, so they are slower and can’t be used at night due to the noise, which may disturb others.

If your stay is longer than one week and you’d like to use the machine, please note that guests must provide their own detergent and fabric softener.

For shorter stays, I recommend a nearby self-service laundry located just behind Tesco in Wicklow Town. You can wash a large basket of clothes for just €6, and the price includes hypoallergenic, eco-friendly detergent and softener. It’s a professional machine, fast (only 15 minutes per cycle), and the place is open 24 hours.

If the weather is nice, I can provide a drying rack and pegs so you can hang clothes to dry at home. There are also dryers available at the same laundry.

Additional Features:

Beautiful Garden: Take advantage of the stunning garden, perfect for outdoor relaxation and enjoying the scenic surroundings as beach and Mountain View .

Free Parking: Ample free parking is available for one car space on the street.

Serene Garden: Relax and unwind in our beautiful garden, offering serene sea views and a perfect spot for your morning coffee or evening downtime.

Free Parking: Ample free parking available for your convenience.

Energy-Saving Heating Policy:

Cozy Winter Heating with Oak Wood-Fueled Open Fire in a Countryside Mountain House

Experience the charm of our countryside mountain house, especially during the winter months. Our home is warmed by a delightful open fire with a backboiler, fueled by rich oak wood. This setup not only provides a comforting, crackling fire to gather around but also efficiently heats the entire house. Enjoy the rustic ambiance and cozy warmth that only a traditional open fire can offer, making your stay both comfortable and memorable.
