The master bedroom has a new king size bed (Note: UK king size). Although the second bedroom is a single size room, there is a full sized singe bed that rolls out from under the bed shown in photo. It is possible to accommodate 4 adults we believe the apartment is more comfortable for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

For your convenience there is fast Wifi and a new Samsung Frame TV smart TV. An iPad is provided for your use during your stay - not to be taken out of the apartment- loaded with apps that you will find useful.

The bathroom, with underfloor heating, has a large shower room with a level walk in and good strong water pressure. A hairdryer is provided.

The laundry area, located off the hallway, has a large capacity 9 kg washing machine and separate dryer.

The kitchen has a full size dishwasher, microwave, as well as new cooking appliances and a large fridge/freezer. The dinner set is fine bone china dining set and a full range of wine and champagne glasses are provided for your convenience.

The apartment is perfectly positioned in Malahide with direct access from the green and minutes to the excellent shops, restaurants and pubs that Malahide is known for. The train station (Dart) is less than 5 minutes walk and the efficient train service gets you to the city (Connolly station) in approx 15 minutes to 20 minutes, departing approx every 15 minutes during peak times.

The front terrace and the sitting / dining room is directly south facing making the apartment exceptionally bright and sunny. There are lovely views from the front terrace across the green to the water and yachts.

Parking is included for 1 car though 2 cars can be accommodated by arrangement. There is level access to the apartment from both the parking area at the back of the property, and the village at the front, making it very accessible for those who have difficulty navigating stairs. At the back of the property is an external locked storage room which can be used to store luggage, Golf Clubs or other sporting equipment.

The house is located a convenient 15-20 minutes’ drive to Dublin Airport, but as it is not located beneath the flight path, guests' sleep will not be disturbed by very early morning flights.

Guests have access to their bedroom, the shared bathroom, the downstairs toilet and the sunroom. In addition, guest have shared access to a small back yard with table and chairs plus the front garden which has a 3-seater bench with a view over the green to the estuary beyond.

You must be a dog lover as we have one French bulldog Ella living in our apartment.

Other things to note
We have one French Bulldog Ella. It’s funny how a lot of our Airbnb guests in the past mainly commented on our two dogs (little Lotti passed away in early 2024). If you are afraid or allergic to dogs, our place would not be great for you.

Also, be mindful that we work from our kitchen during the week, so would need to ask you to not use it other than for coffee, tea & water. But don’t worry, there are incredible & plenty or restaurant options within walking distance.

The space
A well known lodge with a long history serving guests locally and from all over the world for the past 20 years. 10 large, comfortable bedrooms with tea making facilities. 8 of the spacious rooms are ensuite.

10-15 minute drive from the airport. 10 minute walk to Malahide village and Dart (train) station to Dublin city centre. 15 minute walk to Malahide beach. 3 minute walk to the grounds of Malahide Castle & Gardens, including a large playground, Avoca, beautiful exercise routes etc.

Malahide Village is a hidden gem with traditional shop fronts, colourful hanging flower baskets and a gorgeous view of Dublin Bay, picturesque Malahide is a homely village that retains its historic character. Visit the Medieval Castle, stroll to the Marina and down to the beach, before discovering the town’s charming bars, restaurants, cafes and chic boutiques. Located 15 minutes from Dublin Airport and 20 minutes by Dart from Dublin City Centre. 10 minute stroll from Malahide Village.

The space
34 Restaurants to suit all taste buds. Shops, Church and even a Casino! Free secure off road parking! Beautiful Marina and close to the beach! Malahide Castle, parts of which date to the 12th century, lies, with over 260 acres of remaining estate parkland, is less than 5 minute walk away! Malahide is a golfing paradise!

Famous golf courses on your doorstep include Old Portmarnock, The Island, Portmarnock Golf & Country Club, Royal Dublin etc. Malahide Castle has the beautiful Avoca Centre with Restaurant, Castle Tours, Par 3, Pitch and Putt, Tennis and a children's playground. The guests have access to the entire bungalow! Peaceful and ideal for a relaxing holiday!
Breakfast is not included in the self-catering units. A welcoming continental breakfast pack is supplied with milk, cereal, juice, bread, butter and jam! Tea and coffee!

Other things to note
You can leave your car parked and be in Dublin City Centre within 25 minutes from your door. Visit beaches at Rush, Donabate and the famous Howth Harbour in close by on the Dart! Malahide village is soaked in history and will make for a wonderful vacation or even pop in for the weekend!

A 10 minute drive from the airport and located on the Malahide estuary, you will be staying in the perfect location to enjoy Malahide village. Our house is a 20 minute walk to the village and train station, 15 minute walk to the castle, a shop and playground only a 5 minute walk away. A bus stop to the village, city centre and to nearby Swords is on your doorstep. A home away from home.

The space
A modern, bright home located in a quiet cul de sac. Open plan kitchen with a combined dining and living room, with double doors that open up to the garden and patio area. A separate living room is also located on the ground floor. A small downstairs bathroom. Two large double bedrooms, one with an en-suite. Main bathroom is located upstairs.
