Took an early morning drive outside of town to see some sights and was able to be back in time to check out." - "This was not what I expected. The listing states “just a few minutes walk “ to restaurants, shops, etc. I’m thinking that walk would have been 20-30 minutes…and getting back would have been all uphill. The property itself was ok. Provided what we needed…but definitely furnished and equipped as cheaply as possible. It could use some new paint on the walls, or some cleaning of walls. Also to get hot water upstairs - there’s a switch on the wall in hallway. Would have been helpful to know that ahead of time!!"

Charming house located along the river and a ten minutes walk into the centre of town. This makes it a perfect location if you want to enjoy all the centre of town has to offer but without the noise.

From just outside the door, there is beautiful walk that opens onto Lough Gill Lake with hills in the distant. You can enjoy SUPing (Stand Up Paddling), kayaking or canoeing with local adventure companies. If you want a more relaxed experience of Lough Gill, a boat leaves from along the walk.

The space
The most unique aspect of the space is actually to be found outside. The river across the road provides a peaceful space to just sit and watch the river, enjoy the swans when they come to visit or take a beautiful walk along the river.

In the summer, the back garden is a peaceful place to relax and in the front you can relax and watch the swans on the river.

I have a lovely open-plan living space downstairs which looks out onto the river. You are welcome to use this space to relax on the couch or curl up with a book on a comfy chair.
You may use the kitchen which is small but functional.
You are also welcome to sit outside and enjoy the garden.

Our house is in the quiet suburbs 3.5km Sligo .It is very conveniently located just 5 mins drive to sligo town centre.We are close to Sligo University Hospital and Sligo I.T.Sligo is part of The Wild Atlantic Way. We provide an en-suite room downstairs with another room for use by our Air bnb guests only where self service breakfast is available.This has a fridge,kettle ,water ,tea ,coffee and cereals.This can be used by our guests to relax in during their stay.Children and infants are welcome.
