Ballina, a market town offers beautiful walks along the famous river Moy while watching the fishermen or maybe salmon jumping!
There are several high-class restaurants and coffee shops in and near the town.
The town is steeped in history with the Jackie Clarke Centre and the Mary Robinson Centre available to visit.
People are friendly and welcoming to all visitors.
The Merry Monk pub and restaurant is only a a few minutes walk away.
Poachers is an exclusive Restuarant which is worth visiting if you are a foodie. You need to book in advance though!
Foxford nearby is a lovely town with the infamous Woollen Mills.. tour , cafe and shop.
Meanwhile Killala is a historical village with a Round Tower. It's where " The Year of the French film was made. Worth a visit. We are surrounded by sandy beaches and beautiful walks.

Though it feels like an escape from everything, the village is less than a 5 min stroll away, and the sea is a 12 mins walk along the Easkey River.

This apartment had window light from three sides, so although a compact size it feels bright and airy. It has been recently renovated to a high standard while keeping the old world charm.
