Now that we are home I see the email with a download for all the necessary items for our trip. Unfortunately, because we were already traveling and did not have access to our computer, I missed this valuable information. (Would advise sending it a week prior to the stay if visitors are coming from abroad.) The photos posted on VRBO don't do it justice! It's fantastic! Wished we could have stayed for a week! It is odd that none of the bathrooms in Ireland have outlets in the actual bathroom. I'm guessing women don't get ready in the bathroom? Also, there aren't top sheets, just fitted sheets and blankets. The surrounding area is safe to walk and Greg provided suggestions and even left us a warm welcome for our 30th anniversary! The property is a semi detached bungalow with a small garden to the front and back.

The house has a bright fresh feel with a pleasant mix of old and new. The bedroom has a calm but retro vibe with some of Wee Mary’s original furnishings.

The shared bathroom is clean and quirky with a terracotta style floor and a curtain shower over what can only be described as a statement burgundy bath! Fresh towels will be made available on arrival.

The shared kitchen is fully equipped for you to use as much as you would like. I will always ensure there is milk in the fridge, a loaf of bread in the cupboard, fruit in the fruit bowl and coffee ready to brew. But please help yourself as much as your like.

The living space has an open fire and a 48” TV for you to catch up on the latest episode on Netflix (chromecast from your phone) and relax after your long day on the coast!

You will have access to a private room as well as use of the kitchen, bathroom and living room.

During your stay
I will also be staying in the house but when guests are here I like to come and go. Guests will feel like they have the place to themselves. I will be available on arrival and if there’s anything you need during your stay.

This house is very much an unfinished labour of love and is undergoing some changes. Please be patient as I make small improvements to Wee Mary’s house.

Our ground floor one bedroom apartment is just a short walk from the centre of the seaside town of Portrush. We are a 5 minute walk to Royal Portrush. We have our own off street parking and also a little sun trap of a back garden. Portrush is a great location to explore the north coast and surrounding areas. The town itself has 2 award winning beaches, great golfing and many fabulous bars and restaurants. You’ll also find great seaside attractions including the legendary Barry’s amusements!

The space
Our ground floor apartment is one bedroom, with modern kitchen, bathroom and enclosed outdoor space. There is one step at both the front and back doors to access the property. There is a corner sofa in the living room which converts to a comfy double sofa bed. We have WiFi, internet enabled tv, washer, cooker, microwave, fridge, etc. We have a BBQ available for guest use. We also have one designated off street parking space, and usually room for a second vehicle. We are pet friendly on request. We are also tourist board approved.

We don’t have a sea view but fortunately the beach and golf course are only a few minutes walk away. Children and pets are welcome.

My apartment is kitted with a range of luxuries such as fibre broadband, HD television, balcony with patio doors, and Jacuzzi bath tub so there are many ways to relax when you're not out exploring.
What's more the top of the building has a secluded scenic roof garden and there is underground parking in the building in a designated space.

This is a perfect location for exploring all the north coast has to offer. Giants Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Bushmills Distillary are all a short drive away. Ideal location for Open and golfing in general.
