Attached on to the original Old Smiddy blacksmiths this lovely apartment has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday with plenty of activities nearby plus restaurants. Within walking distance to shops and pubs. There is a private entrance with parking, small hallway with shower room off. Livingroom with Lindsay tartan carpet. Family bedroom with large king size bed and connecting room with single bed sleeps 3 people in curtained large room. En-suite attached. Electric blankets on beds, hairdryer and clock radios. New for 2025 Wren fitted kitchen with everything required. Fridge/freezer, washer/drier, electric cooker, microwave, coffee maker etc. Bus stop near door taking you either to east side of Loch Lomond or to Glasgow.

- "This bottom floor apartment has a lovely garden. However if you’re looking for peace and quiet this is not for you. Very loud music can be heard coming from upstairs. The beat from the base was constant. We woke up from a man screaming, yelling, and cursing. Next there was banging on the door and a man yelling “Open the fxxxx door!!” This continued for a few hours anlong with trying to jiggle the lock. and jiggling of keys. At times we were afraid the next thing to happen would be something terrible. This continued through 11:30 pm. Horrible! I can’t believe that the owner doesn’t know that her neighbors have issues. Also we also stayed here as the apartment listed a washer and dryer on the premises. It only has a washer. Finally, the toilet had a horrible smell coming from it. Plus side- The gardens outside are adorable and the neighbors put lots of time into keeping it up. "

The space
The apartment has three bedrooms, two of which have king size beds and en-suite facilities and the third bedroom has a single bed and a full bathroom across the corridor. The property is in a modern building, it is a duplex apartment with the bedrooms on the second floor and the kitchen, seating, dining and patio area are upstairs on the 3rd floor.

Guests will have access to the entire apartment including a private balcony equipped with furniture and small bbq area and boasts beautiful views of the River Leven, the marina and the mountains of Loch Lomond beyond.

- "Christine is, by far, the best communicator of any VRBO owner I've ever come across. And we travel a lot. And then there's the loft and location. The location is another A+. Step outside and you are within 3 minutes of wonderful food and drinks. The several pubs nearby are fantastic. Steps from a grocery store. Cross the street and you find you alone (we visited in september) in a peaceful, wooded area along the river. Nicely paved pathways. You can get lost back in there, so many paths. Some toward the castle, some run along the lake. The flat is a lot larger than we expected, and we only used 2 of the 3 bedrooms. This flat is unique in a way that other flats come up short: the kitchen and living room actually can easily accommodate the number of occupants. Lots of space. The huge windows allow afternoon sun, so morning coffees are cool and shady. The view from the balcony is stunning. We give this loft an easy A+. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Christine will be there if you need her. You probably won't, though. It was an easy drive in from Sterling, and an easy drive out to Glasgow. Thank you, George and Anne"

Carson Road is situated in Balloch with its accessible location at the southern end of Loch Lomond and just off the main road from Glasgow to the West Highlands (A82), it is an important centre of tourism, especially from Glasgow SECC and Dumbarton. The village has a number of hotels, inns and pubs, and there are cruises from Balloch up Loch Lomond, and other services, including to nearby locations like Luss. The largest number of boats cruising on Loch Lomond leave from Balloch.

The property owner does not live locally and it was a great imposition on our holiday -;eg having to wait in and mop the floor 3 x times and adjust the boiler pressure twice. These actions should NOT be the responsibility of renters… A very poor situation, no proposal to refund any money by the owner"

Cameron House's Five Star Lodges are situated on the beautiful banks of the Southern end of Loch Lomond a wee walk from Balloch, within the grounds of Cameron House and the Cameron Club and Spa resort. This luxury lodge, sleeps up to eight people and is a great self-catering accommodation choice for families and larger groups. There are however some amazing restaurants on site at the marina and Cameron House Hotel if you prefer to be catered to! :)
Cameron House Lodges are located just a stone’s throw from the hotel reception, dotted around the Wee Demon golf course. With fantastic resort restaurants to suit any event and an award-winning Spa located at the Cameron Club and Spa resort, guests can experience luxury at its best.
As well as relaxing steam rooms, The Spa swimming pool is a guest favourite. Children can also take a dip in the indoor pool at The Spa.

Bright and airy home in the beautiful scenery of Balloch. This is an ideal location for a quintessentially Loch Lomond experience. Walking distance from Loch Lomond shores and Cameron House. Plenty of cycle routes as well as tourist places to see. 25mins drive into Glasgow airport and trains to Glasgow every 30mins.
Very ideal location for those looking to do some sight seeing, boat cruises or to bag a Scottish munro (hill) or two.
Please note that the bathroom will be shared.

You will share the space with my husband Emmanuel and I. We enjoy hosting and aim to make you feel at home and as comfortable as possible.
You’re welcome to sit in the lounge, borrow a book from the bookshelf and use the kitchen.

Our location is second to none with dozens of fantastic attractions within 5 mins walk. even more 5-10 mins drive and plenty of day trips using the car or train which is immediately outside of our driveway. Guests always comment on how comfy our beds are and how cosy and clean the space is!
Our rooms are designed for families or groups travelling together. Sleeping arrangements in each room consist of singe beds and 1 or 2 adult bunks.

You are hiring ONE ROOM with bathroom or shower room. There is access to a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and dishes. You are welcome to use the garden and outside patio with sitting area.
You will be given your own set of keys to acquire access to the property. As we cater for a lot of families there are quiet hours after 10pm & doors locked after 12.30pm. Check-in from 4pm. Check out until 10.30am.

Our recently refurbished, modern 2 bedroom apartment is an ideal location for families and friends to explore Balloch, Loch Lomond and beyond. Situated in a quiet residential area with its own parking space, this apartment is within walking distance to bars, restaurants and tourist attractions. Balloch train station is a 10 minute walk away with direct trains to Glasgow; Stirling and Edinburgh (and their respective tourist attractions) can be reached within an hour’s drive.
The space
Our beautifully presented apartment has 2 spacious bedrooms – one king-size and the other a twin room, both with fitted wardrobes. Bedroom 2 has option of a king size bed or twin beds. Unless requested the bedroom will be made up as 2 single beds.
Ideal for couples, families or friends there is a generous sized living room, kitchen and bathroom with shower. We provide a Pack and Play/travel cot and a high chair for younger guests. Towels are provided.

The space
Bellavista guesthouse is within a sizable garden, overlooking Loch Lomond Marina in the River Leven, right in the heart of Balloch, Loch Lomond. The guest quarters consist of the top half of the guest house with central living area and 4 bedrooms off from it.
There are no cooking facilities for guests but each room has a food prep area with fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster.
Room one and two sleeps 6 each and consists of two single beds plus one adult European bunkbed as well as a double pull out sofa each.
Room 3 and 4 both have 1 single bed and 1 adult European size bunk and a double sofa bed each.

We are immediately beside Balloch train station and within walking distance from the bus terminal. There are many attractions within walking distance as well as bike hire at Lomond Shores. Stirling, Blair Drummond safari and Edinburgh are all within driving distance for day trips.
Other things to note
Please note there is no use of kitchen within the guesthouse.
Each room has a food prep area with fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster for breakfast and lunch but guests may wish to use the many restaurants and pubs that are within walking distance for their main meal.

Our house manual which we send to all of our guests contains our recommendations on where to eat and activities to try. The centre of Balloch is also within walking distance. Here you will find the largest supermarket in the vicinity, bars, a post office and much more.
If you want to travel in style we can get discounted rates on boats on the loch, the best way to explore the islands and other areas such as Ben Lomond.

Spacious five bedroom detached period property situated near the banks of Loch Lomond. This family home allows direct access to the Loch from the back garden where our kayaks can be used, private boat tours at the property can be arranged or the very popular Loch Lomond Sweeneys Cruises is situated 100 metres from the garden gate. The house also hosts a pool table, darts board, private hot tub, various X-box’s, boom box, and many musical instruments.

The main hallway gives access to the dining room, livingroom, downstairs double bedroom, and kitchen which follows through to the pool room and small WC at the rear of the property. Two bathrooms are situated on the half landing, and following this, the top landing gives acces to four double bedrooms.
