- "The house ist fully equiped and very useful organized, for exampel are there many possibilities to hang up clothes and many rooms to storage clothes and food in the kitchen. In the ground floor the Toilette has a big sinck, wonderful for cleaning dearty shoes or dig-utilities. The house got very fast warm with the heating possibility. The only thingwe missed, was a hair-dryer, but perhaps we couldn't find him? We didn't use the dish washer, the washing machine and the dryer, so I cant't say anything to these machines. From the house it is a ten minute walk to Killin, thats fine. With a Dog you can walk the road down in both directions and you have many walking possibilities. We enjoed our stay in Killin and Gleann Fia House a lot. I wished it would be closer to Germany, so we would book it again."

The self-contained flat - part of an Edwardian house in the pretty, friendly village of Killin - has everything you need for an enjoyable stay, whether you want to relax indoors (or in the garden) or get out and about in the area. It is perfect for a couple, a single traveler, or a young family.

The flat offers a brand new fitted kitchen, lounge with projector Sky TV, internet, Sonos sound system, two bedrooms one double room with plenty of storage and room and one with a bunk bed which involves climbing a few pieces of wood to get to the top one . I am 6ft 7 and I stay in it . If you cannot climb a very short way then this bunk is not for you so please don’t complain when you stay in it .it’s a bunk bed .. the flat also has a shower room, toilet and storage.
The MacLaren hall is close by should you be attending a function and my place is directly above the old co-op and next door to the post office.parking is in the driveway immediately left hand side of the bagpiper statue. Go through the green door and up the stairs to the top on the right hand side . You will then see the relative information on the door. Enjoy

I am a musician and play the the bagpipes and many other instruments and could arrange entertainment with the band Killin Thyme if you wish, at additional cost. Just email me through the information on the door .... I have a folding dining table behind the kitchen door with 4 chairs .Also the water for the two sinks is heated by the fire and by an emershian heater which takes about 1hr . Checked yesterday and fully functional.Not that you need hot water in them as there is a dishwasher and an electric shower. There is also a washing machine but this is really for washing the linen and not for the guest to use , so please don’t complain when you find no washing powder or dryer. The radiators are heated by the Woodburner and the wood burner only so please do not mess with the thermostats as this will do nothing other than ruin them and make them leak. The bigger the fire you have, the more the heat comes out of them. You must put the switch on the wall .don’t worry it’s all explained in the house manual . Thank you for coming and enjoy your stay.

We welcome guests from around the world to our luxurious 6-berth spacious Victorian townhouse. Balmore enjoys an enviable location, 100 metres from the scenic Dochart Falls in the beautiful village of Killin. Just 90 minutes from Edinburgh or Glasgow, yet a world away, set within the beautiful Scottish Highlands.

The space
The building dates back to circa Eighteen Ninety Eight, and was a hunting lodge for the 1st Marquess of Breadalbane, Gavin Campbell and his guests. The Marquess owned and resided at the grand Taymouth Castle, 17 miles away in Kenmore, at the top end of Loch Tay.

In more recent times, the establishment became The Tighnabruich Hotel, and by all accounts it was a lively place for the locals to unwind, drink and play music! Shortly after the turn of the last century, the hotel fell into disrepair. Within the past decade it was acquired by a local property developer, completely restored and renovated into four separate townhouses. Balmore enjoys a most prominent position facing the bridge and the main road, and retains the original front door space.

All three bedrooms are furnished with luxury two thousand pocket sprung beds for a wonderful night's sleep. On the first floor, the master room has a king-size double bed and bedroom 2 is furnished with two single beds. On the second floor , the lovely attic en-suite studio is also set up as two single beds, but can be zip-linked and properly converted into a superking-sized double with advance request at time of booking. We also have a travel cot & mattress available to use.

Downstairs is open plan; the beautiful kitchen having every mod con, including dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. A very relaxing area for cooking, or perhaps just to pour a glass of wine.

The living area is luxuriously furnished in a chic modern-retro style. Dotted around the place you'll find several instruments available for guests to play. Pride of place is a beautiful Yamaha YDP S52 digital piano, an acoustic guitar, a fiddle, a button melodeon along with various whistles and assorted sheet music. The honeycomb bookcase also houses a guest box easel complete with paper, watercolour paints and crayons for you to try your hand with if you wish.

High-speed 80Mb/s fibre broadband and wifi available throughout the house, plus internet-enabled 49" TV and a Cambridge Audio Yoyo L Bluetooth speaker in the lounge area.

Balmore enjoys breathtaking views from three aspects. South-west to Dochart Bridge and beyond that to Glen Ogle. To the east are Loch Tay, Ben Lawers and Meall nan Tarmachan, and directly to the north is Sron a Chlachain, an imposing 520 metre hill close by.

This luxury 2 bedroom cottage in heart of Killin has its own garden overlooking a lovely barn and private courtyard. This is a great space to come and relax after exploring the local area. With a separate kitchen dining area to socialise in and a lovely living room and sitting area. It is perfect for families, couples and groups of four. Both bedrooms have king sized beds.

Killin offers a good central base for touring or If you enjoy walking or cycling there are plenty of trails including the Route 7 cycle path nearby. For the more adventurous, our local Munro Ben Lawers is a short drive away,

The space
With NEW upper floor Master Bedroom Suite with En-suite Shower room, with a sitting area and floor-to-ceiling privacy triple glazing with views over the Falls, and Wall mounted TV. Furnished to a high standard Tigh Muileann offers flexible self catering accommodation. The lower level has a fitted kitchen with wall and base units, fridge, dishwasher, oven and hob, a separate dining room with open fire and large table with chairs & bench seating. The sitting room has a log burning stove, leather sofas, armchair, a coffee table and TV on an oak cabinet. One king size bedroom (with wall-mounted TV) , one triple bedroom, and a family bathroom are also on this level. The rear extension has a single bedroom plus a twin bedroom with Jack and Jill shower room.

Please note that on request the single beds can be joined to make doubles in the twin and triple room. With views over the bridge and falls of Dochart, Tigh Muilean or The Mill House in an ideal position for enjoying the history and warm welcome of Killin. The Old Mill and Waterwheel are close by.

There is an outhouse where you will find an additional fridge and separate freezer and washing machine, sink, a hand dryer and hooks for wet outdoor clothes.

Gravel paths take you to a well established garden area with ramp access to the patio area.

Storage for outdoor equipment can be found in the large shed to the rear of the property where you can also park up to three cars.

A stunning 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom/en-suite house situated in the Central Highlands at the west end of Loch Tay right in the heart of Killin and set within Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, within a 10 minute drive of the Ben Lawers mountain range. It is arguably the most picturesque village in Scotland, surrounded by the most incredible and breathtaking mountains, rivers and lochs.

The space
The house itself comprises of three spacious bedrooms, each complete with an en-suite and TV. There is a large open plan living/dining/kitchen, perfect for entertaining or relaxing enjoying the stunning views from the floor to ceiling french doors which open onto a large balcony. The Living Room boasts a modern log burning stove, a 50" SMART TV, with Freesat and surround sound system. The property is situated on 1/2 acre of land, complete with a spacious patio area with BBQ and a driveway large enough for four vehicles. In addition, there is a drying room located in the basement.
The town centre - which includes numerous pubs, restaurants and shops - is a five to ten minute walk away. There are two golf courses within a 20 minute drive of the property. There are numerous activities available right on your doorstep, including numerous cycling tracks, kayaking and fishing on Loch Tay.
