Our village is at the west end of Loch Tay and there is much to see around here alone, warranting a couple of nights stopover if our guests have the time to explore. Our twin room is located on the first floor up a flight of stairs. It has two standard single beds and a washbasin in the room as well as a hospitality tray with refreshments. A separate bathroom is allocated to this room which is about 3 meters away. A bathrobe is provided as are complementary toiletries.
The space
Nice compact room with twin beds. Wash hand basin in room. Complimentary Tray for Coffee or Tea Making. There is a separate bathroom which is entirely for this room's use. It is located through the guest wing's door, down a couple of steps and then a sloped passageway with a handrail. The space is tight if guests want to fit in a cot or mattress bed. It not advised to try to fit in two children. Please look at our other listing - the double ensuite which is more suitable.
Guest access
Guests are able to use a small guest lounge just next to their room. This has some books provided to read and to take away. There is also a colour TV there as TVs are not provided in the rooms. This room is shared with the guests in our other room but may occasionally not be available if we have to provide space for an extra guest.
We regret that use of our kitchen is not possible as it is in our private space.
We can provide laundry facilities if requested, but this is done by us as machines are accessed through our private space and we would request a small donation to our charity to cover electricity costs.
Other things to note
We are sometimes visited by our 'grand-dog' who is a beautiful Shetland Sheepdog called Cuillin and very friendly. He is not permitted in the upstairs guest rooms and we try to keep him out of the dining room, though he likes to visit guests there if he can.

The en-suite bathroom has underfloor heating and Jacuzzi bath with shower. Complementary toiletries are provided.

The room is quaint with sloping eves. It has lovely oak furniture and is at the far end of the house, so private. There is a lovely bathroom complete with Jacuzzi bath and integral shower and complementary toiletries are provided.

We try to be available to our guests if required. Our aim is to provide a friendly and helpful family atmosphere without being intrusive. We will try to provide information about the surrounding areas and to help with any travel arrangements if we can.

We are visited at times by our 'grand-dog' who is a beautiful Shetland Sheepdog called Cuillin and very friendly. He is not allowed in the guest areas, but will sneak into the dining room to say hello. Please let us know if you do not want his attention and we will do our best!

My name is Franny Morrison and I look forward to welcoming you to The Wee Treat. Set in the heart of Killin it is a short walk to the Falls of Dochart. The newly built studio offers beautiful self contained accomodation. It is situated at the top of our large, garden and is seperate to our house. The bifold doors offer easy access to the patio and the picturesque scenery.
There is free off street parking and our Hot tub is available by arrangement at an additional maintenance charge.
The space
The Wee Treat offers an open, light space with a seperate bedroom which has usb power points by the king size bed. The long window at the front of the bedroom gives you a view of the hills. The shower room has a lit magnifying mirror with a shaving point as well as a cupboard underneath the sink. The living area with a fully equipped kitchen has a sofa bed, dining table and chairs as well as a HD TV and usb sockets. There is an eternet cable. Looking towards the hills the living area benefits from bifold doors opening out to a patio, for outside dining and relaxation. There is also secluded seating to the rear of the
The Wee Treat . There is a barbecue for your use. Our Hot Tub is available for use at a small maintenance charge.
Guest access
The Wee Treat is situated at the top of our terraced garden. Access to the Wee Treat is via steps which are illuminated at night . Having parked the car in the drive the steps are situated on the right side of our house.

Please note there is no fencing around the Patio area.
