It also has a large sitout deck on the upper floor with comfortable outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Every bedroom has a small TV and the two living rooms have full sized TVs. The backyard is fenced and so safe to let your pet out without worry. Mains at Taymouth also has a golf course which we could not use unfortunately as it rained on the day we had planned to play. There is a very well stocked shop in the complex open all 7 days. There are 3 good restaurants : Courtyard which is in the complex itself, Waterfront (with excellent Loch views) across the road in Kenmore Club Hotel, and Ferryman’s Inn which is just 5 minutes drive away. We loved the latter two more because they are next to the Loch. Aberfeldy is just 6 miles away and has more eating options and also fuel station and larger stores like Co-op and ASDA. All in all, a lovely stay and we look forward to visiting again. "

- "A fantastic dog friendly, ground floor apartment with hot tub. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It had everything you need to be a home from home, including; tea-towels, dish soap, toilet paper, bin liners and dish washer tabs. As other reviewers have commented communication in advance was good, though a bit intimidated with the number of potential fines that could be applied - it's OTT! In practise the staff are helpful and friendly. We only saw them if we needed them. There were lots of visiting dogs, what would be really good is some sort of fenced area to let dogs off for a run and to relieve themselves. There's sparse area within the complex for a quick walkies. Often queues at the Ferryman with very slow service but we did enjoy tasty pizza and chips one night. Great views and a nice relaxing summer vibe. Currently a limited menu available for summer 2021. Can not comment on the Hot Box, this was an additional fee to guests. It would be so nice if this was complementary but understandable limits due to the pandemic. We used the watersports - pretty relaxed i.e. no instructions etc but easy to find and all equipment of good quality. Overall, would recommend for a great staycation!"

- "Didn't realise it was up the stairs. Very basic. Crockery was chipped. Only 4 dining chairs and 4 bar stools. Property sleeps 6. No dish towel. The back garden is a disgrace and we had to walk past about 8 bins daily to get in and out of the property. There were no tea towels so we resorted to using a bathroom towel. For a property with 6 beds there was only 1 toilet roll which at the price seems very cheap. The boiler clearly has a lot of air in the system and along with the radiators makes all sorts of noise. Luckily the weather wasn't too cold so we didn't notice the lack of heat. Our general impression of the property was that it was very tired and was definitely not worth the money."

The property had everything we needed for our relaxing stay from all the kitchen essentials you would need, to towels for getting in and out of the hot tub. - "The over-riding thing for us all was that the accommodation was not clean. In fact, it was dirty. The shower cubicles are shocking. There were sweet wrappers at the side of my bedside table, also large balls of fluff all around the skirting boards. It hadn’t been cleaned. The sink in the kitchen was a disgrace, with a filthy piece of string attaching the plug to the sink so we could wash dishes. The window sills in the living room were thick with dust. The beds were uncomfortable. I could go on and on. We got what we paid for I suppose but we at least expected it to be clean."

The space
Built in 1898, Drumdewan Farmhouse is part of a former traditional farmstead located in the ancient parish of Dull. A peaceful, quiet location it nestles below the hill known as Rock of Dull and has panoramic views along the beautiful Tay River valley. To get the most from your stay a car is necessary as there are very few buses.

Some guests have said it is a romantic setting and one couple choose to get engaged whilst staying. At the rear of the property The Stag's Rest has its own front door and offers complete privacy. Looking out over its pretty garden area it has lovely views towards the larch clad slopes of Dull Woods. A table and chairs have been provided so you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery or weather permitting breakfast!

Inside there is a large bedroom, ensuite bathroom with over bath shower and a cute and cosy little lounge with a small TV. Eclectically decorated with a stylish mix of new and vintage finds, there is everything you could need for a comfortable stay.

The spacious bedroom has a super-king bed with luxury linens. There is large wardrobe for longer stays and an iron and hairdryer if you need them.

The Stag's Rest is in a wonderful rural location but there are activities right on the doorstep. Meet Yum Yum and Max the tame red deer at the bottom of the garden, walk or cycle direct from the door or stroll down to Highland Safaris where you can book a Scottish wildlife safari, hire mountain bikes, go 4x4 driving or just take it easy, do some shopping and indulge in the wonderful homemade food and coffee.

Only 3 miles away is the delightful town of Aberfeldy with a good range of shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants and an independent art deco cinema. There are EV charging points behind the Coop in Aberfeldy. The stunning scenery of Kenmore, Loch Tay with boat trips and Glen Lyon are a short drive away or visit the well known tourist town of Pitlochry and enjoy a show at the Festival Theatre.

You will have access to The Stag's Rest via it's own private gate and front door. There is lots of parking space and a private garden area with table and chairs directly outside the suite.

The main garden in front of Drumdewan Farmhouse is the owner's private space but you can walk down the drive to meet the tame red deer who live in the field in front of the house.

Private entrance can be accessed either via a short set (4) of stone steps through a private gateway.

If the steps are a problem, via a sloped path which runs round the side of the property but does come past the owners part of the house.

There are no stairs or steps once you are inside the property. It is all on one level.

The doors to the ensuite bathroom and lounge are a standard width and unfortunately there are no provisions made for disabled access.

Burnside is set in a large, peaceful garden looking out over the hills, woods and wildlife. Situated on the edge of the village of Grandtully, within walking distance of 2 lovely places to eat and the River Tay. A delicious homemade continental breakfast is included. Burnside is ideally placed for exploring the beautiful Tay valley with Aberfeldy just 4.5 miles away and Pitlochry 9 miles.

Fi is an experienced yoga teacher offering lessons in the dedicated yoga studio next to the house.

The space
The room is spacious with a super comfy king size bed. Breakfast including homemade granola, yogurt, fruit, bread, croissants and home made jams can be taken in your room, the large family kitchen or on the deck in the sunshine. Tea and coffee making facilities provided in room.

During the easing of COVID restrictions I will be taking extra steps to clean and sanitise between bookings. All bedlinen will be washed at the highest temperature and all surfaces cleaned and sanitised. I would encourage guests to express any extra requests or concerns during this time.

We really hope you enjoy your stay at Dundonnachie House, the house was formerly used as offices and we have lovingly restored it back to a home.

The house is located right in the centre of Aberfeldy, with all amenities within walking distance. There is an abundance of Bars, Restaurants, Coffee Shops and boutique shops to be enjoyed.

The first Sunday of every month(April - Oct), from 10am - 2pm there is the Aberfeldy Farmers Market selling a mix of food, art and craftsmanship.

The space
Set back off the main street, Dundonnachie House offers high standard Self Catering Accommodation in the heart of Aberfeldy.

Set over two floors, the accommodation comprises of 2 bedrooms, one King and the other an en -suite Super King/Two Singles, there is also room for a travel cot in this room. A further bathroom completes the first floor.

On the ground floor there is an open plan kitchen, dining and living room complete with wood burning stove. There is a small enclosed patio to the front of the house.

With free Wifi, gas central heating, double glazing, Dundonnachie House is fully equipped and maintained to a very high standard.

Please note there is not a DVD player. The TV has USB points should you wish to use an Amazon Firestick (not supplied) or similar device for streaming movies etc.

Explore the beauty of Highland Perthshire and beyond from this two bedroom cottage flat perfectly located in the centre of Aberfeldy. All local amenities are within a 5 minute walk of the accommodation.
Although centrally located the flat is in a peaceful area overlooking the tranquil waters of the Moness Burn.
Aberfeldy definitely punches above its weight when it comes to activities, there’s something for everyone.

The space
There are two good sized bedrooms, a shower room, living-dining area and kitchenette. The living area is fitted with a Smart TV and Multifuel Stove. There is a shared grassed area to the rear, private driveway for two cars and an external store which houses a small freezer and spin dryer for our guests use.

The entire gravel driveway is for your use. Two cars can fit into the drive.
We share the grassed area at the rear of the property with our downstairs neighbour.
The rotary drier (Whirligig) belongs to our flat.
The two stores with blue doors underneath the entrance steps belong to our flat.

The large double height main space has a large open stone fire, large glass doors give exceptional views. This room contains a sitting room, kitchen, Sky TV, billiard table and bathroom. The Wee Manse is a self-contained compact Studio in Aberfeldy. Located within 2 minutes walk from the town centre and set in a quiet peaceful location. Finished to a high standard with underfloor heating, double bed, smart TV, Wifi, compact kitchen with Nespresso machine, microwave/grill and fridge. Private outdoor space with small table and chairs. Beautiful walks direct from your door. A great space to unwind and enjoy all that Aberfeldy has to offer.
