Family accommodation with beautiful beach 10 minutes walk. Area of outstanding natural beauty (Mussenden Temple, Downhill Demesne and Hezlett House). Castlerock train station is a 5 minutes walk away (links Londonderry to Belfast) and on the bus route. Good for families and groups. In a cul-de-sac and very quiet. Nearby are tennis courts, football pitch, playpark, golf course. Fantastic coffee shop within walking distance. Lots of restaurants in local area.

Castle rock is an unpretentious village with wonderful walks, a single bar/restaurant where the staff really work hard, a delightful craft shop and a couple of the most welcoming coffee shops. We were there in winter when it was very quiet, very cold and a little wet, but I reckon it would be a great venue for a summer break. That was just what we wanted. This was a great long weekend in a great house. Thoroughly recommended."

Thankyou for looking at our holiday home. We are pleased to offer our three bed two storied terrace house comprising of two double bedrooms and a third smaller bedroom with bunk beds for children. There is a Shower room upstairs with WC and the home is fully central heated throughout. The property has been recently modernised and finished to a high standard both inside and out. There is a modern fitted kitchen with American style fridge freezer, electric oven with a Hob and a built in microwave. The Blue Doors is Located in a small quite residential estate within 10 minutes walk from beach, village centre and the Railway Station linking Dublin, Belfast and Londonderry. The house is fully equipped for day to day familly living with TVs in lounge and bedrooms, DVD player, WiFi and washing machine also a secure enclosed paved rear yard for the kids to play safely. To aid cleaning for the next guest we have had to remove some items so please bring your current book, favourite DVD, CD or childs toys. A additional cleaning charge may be incurred should our home be left in an unclean state or with damage. Sorry strictly NO PETS or SMOKING and to accomodate our neighbours no loud behaviour or parties.. Please note that there is a minimum stay depending on season. NI Tourist Board approved.

The garden allowed sunshine, snacks, drinks & games with the children, and we were able to see the sunset in the distance. We visited the Giants Causeway, Portrush and the beaches nearby. Coleraine, the larger city about 6 miles away, has everything you could possibly need in terms of shopping. The home is exactly as it was portrayed in the pictures...very clean, large, and well-maintained. We hope to return and wholeheartedly recommend this home."

The space
The house sleeps 6 and has 1 double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms. Located upstairs is a bathroom with bath/shower and toilet, plus another separate toilet. Downstairs, the bathroom has been fitted with power shower. The house has two dining/sitting rooms so there is plenty of room for extended families and guests to have space to relax. The house is fitted with free WIFI and is ideal for those Working From Home.

It is a 1 minute walk from the beach and the house has excellent sea views. Private car parking is available for 2-3 cars. At the back of the house is a large private patio. There is also a grassed area of garden. Next door is another house owned by us and so for large family groups, both houses can be rented at the same time.

With regard to the décor, the majority of floors are their original parquet/wooden flooring and seagrass on the stairs. The house is clutter-free, simple & relaxing.

As a family, we spend a huge amount of time in the sea and so we have an outside hose for the washing of wetsuits. The majority of our guests are couples or families, and we have also had many golfers come and stay due to our close proximity to Castlerock Golf Club (5 min walk). Also Royal Portrush Golf Club (venue for British Open 2019 and the forthcoming 2025 Open ) & Portstewart Golf Club are 20-25 mins, by car.
