There is a bar and a restaurant, and the breakfast is a buffet with a lot of good choices. The location is great, in the heart of Donegal town. It does not have some amenities that are common with American hotels, such as a pool or a workout room. But it does have a vending machine with snacks, soft drinks, and water, so that was nice. What it out for me was the service. We mentioned by email that it was our anniversary, and they set us up with a view of Donnie Gay, and a chocolate plate with happy anniversary written on it. And then after Aaron Lingus Starr bags they were very helpful, in terms of helping us figure out where to shop for necessities as well as doing things like drying our clothes free overnight after we washed them in the sink. The night Porter even walked me around outside at 6 a.m. to show me various shops where we might be able to pick some things up. There was only so much they could do before we got our bags, but they did what they could and we appreciated it."
