The Willow Vintage Caravan at the Greenhouse Eco Cabin is set in 18 acres of remote wild countryside in the hills of Donegal. Our aim is to live a simple, basic life in comfortable cosiness with some added quirky features. So our shower conserves water, it's a pump shower which will get you washed but won't be high powered! Our dry compost toilets don't use water for flushing, just sawdust. But read the reviews and you'll see the experience is unique and generally loved by all our guests
The space
The caravan sleeps two in luxury with stunning views from every window. There is a mixture of solar and electric lighting and kettle in the caravan. There is a private dry compost toilet and pump bucket shower undercover attached outside the caravan as well as a shared washroom with a pump bucket shower and a shared dry compost toilet in the adjacent converted barn as well as shared camping kitchen where there is a 2 ring hotplate cooking facility, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and all cooking utensils and plates, crockery and glasses provided (please note there is NO oven)Caravan guests have exclusive use of the outdoor firepit room with BBQ and indoor stone room with woodburning stove and comfy sofas, there is only one other Teacup Vintage Caravan on site
Guest access
Guests also have use of private outside seating areas and shared picnic area and shared fire pit room for cosy nights outside by the fire as well as an indoor barn room with wood burning stove and comfy sofas.
Within the property of 18acres there is one other Teacup Vintage Caravan ( only 2 people occupancy) and the Into the West mobile cabin ( which sleeps 4)
Other things to note
We offer a get away from it all experience, a place to relax in remote surroundings and recharge yourself, the road to us reflects this! ie its a bit rough n bumpy in places, but we hope, worth it when you get here! I recommend arriving by car as we are a 5km trek uphill from the main road/nearest shop/pub but i can usually help out with a lift if needed
Please download directions before travelling to Crolly as there is little internet coverage in the area. However the eircode F92 K763 should bring you straight to the door on sat nav or goggle maps. Make a note of my mobile number in case you get lost!
