- "Our two night stay at Manoir de Surville was exceptional! The building has been lovingly restored by the two owners Camille & Hugues and is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in a Cocoon room right at the top of the building, the bed was perhaps the most comfortable I have ever slept in and there was a lovely bath in the room too - if this isn't your type of thing make sure you stay in Classic room. It goes without saying the whole place is absolutely immaculate inside and out. The garden is vast and there are deck chairs and places of places to sit outside. Throughout our stay we felt very welcome from using the communal living room to relaxing in the wonderful spa area. There is a small restaurant where you must book in advance but it is so worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal there, it was relaxing and was so yummy! Our hosts were more than happy to suggest day trips, places to visit and great places to eat. The hotel would be perfect for a short stop over on your way to a final destination in France as it's under 3 hours to Calais or also just a great relaxing place to stay on a road-trip holiday. We cannot wait to visit again next year!"

It is a long time since we have stayed somewhere like this. Hard to fault anything or anyone. Hostess was lovely and happy to speak in English, she could not do enough for us.
