- "We loved this hotel. There was a superb buffet breakfast, a huge swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds leading straight onto the beach. The service was excellent ( just a shame they didn't understand English a little bit better, but they tried hard). Definitely recommend this hotel and we'll go back." - "Our second stay at this hotel, after an absence of 4 years. We feared that the very high standards we found last time might have declined a bit, and we are always aware of revisiting places we've loved in case of disappointment second time around. However, we needn't have worried. It is as superb as ever. The care and attention of the ever-cheerful staff is unsurpassed and if anything it seemed even better organised than in 2008. It still doesn't seem to have been discovered by us Brits, but was mainly Scandinavians families. In fact, it struck us this time that it makes a great place for young families to stay - again the staff seemed particularly attentive in that respect. The in-hotel meals also seemed to us to have come down in price relatively (there were a bit pricey last time), but of course you can still eat more cheaply, and well, once you step out into the adjoining small town. All-in-all, we'd have no hesitation in going back again."

The area is quiet but has goo range of restaurants within a ten minute walk. The property looks like it has not yet recovered from the pandemic, and parts of it appear abandoned (including the beach access). Pros: Room: large, constantly clean, huge shower, bathroom door closes,(free soap, shampoo, shower gel, bath towels, pool towels, beach towels, bottled water all provided daily). Also great smoothie shop next door, fantastic smoothies and fresh fruit crepes, and hamburger shop next to that has good burgers and beers for cheap. Location: great, lots of food, drink, transportation, beach choices. Lots of bird sounds in morning, and the cicadas are singing morning and night😁. Hotel provides mostly great tour service providers👍(see Cons). Also laundry 40B per kg. Cons: only Con was when hotel provided driver and van for our hotel booked transportation from Lanta Pearl to Donsak Pier to take ferry to Ko Samui, the guy was surly and a complete ache-hole🙄. Conclusion: Fantastic stay, would highly recommend Lanta Pearl in all facets. Great bang for buck👍."
