- "Gorgeous surroundings, super walkable so long as you can get to the town, helpful staff, GREAT breakfast buffet with stay, clean hotel but quite dated. Would stay at again!" - "The pros: good location. Staff are generally helpful, if not overly friendly. The hotel is clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet is quite good, and the buffet dinner if you have it is not bad value at €22 for all you can eat and it’s not bad quality. The beds are comfortable. The cons: room is very spartan, didn’t even have a kettle, which we had to request from the reception, fortunately they had one left. No air conditioning, quite stifling in the room, glad it wasn’t too hot when we were there, otherwise it would be unbearable. We were in a room facing the front of the hotel and every morning a very loud church bell would go off at 7am for a few minutes. No sleeping through it. Great alarm if you want to be woken at 7, but terrible if you want any sort of lie in. Our shower holder was broken and two mornings there was no hot water! For a 4 star hotel this is all really poor. The swimming pool complex is large with jacuzzi (you have to pay extra for the sauna), and it’s a horseshoe shape, almost like a small water park, which is great for kids and families splashing about, but no good if you actually want to do any proper swimming. If it had been an £80 a night 3 star hotel we would have been quite happy with it, but for the money we paid and it supposedly being 4 star, we weren’t impressed and overall would not recommend it. On a side note, the tourist tax is more than hotels.com quote. It’s €7 per night."

We got upgraded to a huge suite with two bedrooms and a whole living room because we were traveling with a baby and there was some construction towards the front and they didn't want the noise to wake the baby. They also told us we could leave the car parked there while we went on a little hike after checking out. I was literally speechless at how thoughtful and kind these people were. The place was massive and so charming. The view from all three balconies was straight out of a fairytale. The big red flowers in the window boxes with the mountain backdrop live in my memories, as does the splendid breakfast with fresh juices and cheese, locally made yoghurt, and more kinds of food than I could even try. The area is also beautiful for walking with lots of charming little shops and restaurants, and some beautiful hikes nearby. People can really make or break a vacation experience, and in this case, the people are the main reason we would do a whole vacation here. I cannot imagine a more perfect place. We cannot wait to come back. "

- "The apartment has poor accommodation, meaning the whole furniture is old and the impression is of an old place, no recondition was done, is like you live in the ‘80. The walls are dirty and the kitchen area is almost missing (extremely small and did not look very clean).The area is spectacular but all the apartment need to be refurnished or just change the pictures on the site (they do not look at all like in the advertisements) and adjust the price of the room, probably you pay the area and not the room itself."
