Our only problem was due to it being new, the car GPS did not recognise the phone number, so we had to get help by locating a shop nearby, and using that phone number in order for us to locate the hotel. Our problem through Japan was getting someone who could understand and speak minimal English, even in the best hotels the staff could not understand the word 'ice' which we found surprising"

- "This hotel is run by an older Japanese couple and feels like staying in someone’s home. The motel is basically a Motel 6 in style but much cleaner and nicer. Although I speak limited Japanese I felt welcomed.The beds are Western style and very comfortable. The room was very clean. Breakfast was tea, coffee, or apple juice and delicious croissants. I had a nice view of some lovely green rice fields. There were laundry and vending machines. The room was large and spacious. Although it is by the freeway it was quiet. I would say it is a homey and more welcoming place than the Yard, and more restful. "
