It was also perfectly located walkable and equidistant between the town center and the battlefields. I was traveling with my two large dogs and was able to exit out the back door of the property, walk across a small grassy area, and start walking down the battlefield park trails. The free breakfast was pretty good and well stocked. The hotel overall seemed to have a pretty big and responsive staff, more than what I'm used to from chain hotels. They were very friendly. The room was a bit dark (aren't all hotel rooms, though?) and the blankets were pretty thin but otherwise no complaints. I brought blankets to cover the beds to prevent my dogs from getting them dirty and the heating worked well so I wasn't cold. Check in and check out were easy. "

- "I did not spend much time at this hotel this time as I checked in late but my check in was very smooth and I got my keys in five min. The room was a bit outdated but was clean and nicely prepared. We had paid over $100 a day in this one was only $69 well worth the money, when we came into the hotel, we went to the room to check the bed for bedbugs.
