We were asked to choose our breakfast for the morning, by selecting from a laminated picture menu. I have to say I did not expect much. We were given the option to have breakfast in our room, or in reception and we could pick a time. When it came the breakfast was fantastic, and hot! (I had full english and my partner had vegetarian). The room was clean and airy with a view of the square outside. The mattress was very comfortable. The tv is big and easy to use, and the bathroom was clean, had a proper hair dryer and straighteners, and toiletries including toothbrush and shower cap. All in all I was very happy with our stay, and the location was excellent, so near to the Lanes, restaurants and Highcross. We parked in the NCP car park by the Holiday Inn; not the cheapest at £20 per 24 hrs, but safe and only a short walk away. I would recommend this hotel."

We literally spent hours in the bar and restaurant because there was no where else we'd rather be. Everyone we encountered, from kitchen staff, front desk staff, bar staff, cleaners etc were so genuinely friendly and obviously enjoyed their work. I would not hesitate to stay here again because of that reason. The room was comfortable and clean. Stand out staff made this a 5* stay."

The room was well ventilated, clean and fresh towels to use. My son and I woke up to enjoy the lovely breakfast included in my stay, which set us up for our busy day. So all in all I would highly rate this hotel, and would definitely return, when we visit the Space centre again. :) "
