The value for money is spot on and even though the restaurant is pricey for Portugal, it's still very good value. Breakfast was far more than we'd expected, especially after some poor offerings elsewhere. Fresh cake, cereal, meat, cheese, scrambled eggs, tea, coffee, yoghurt, fruit, juice, etc. Only suggestion to Sever would be to tidy it up a bit in places - outside litter pick, replace odd bits of tatty furniture (our bed frame and one shelf), strengthen the WiFi signal. Small quibbles for what is a fantastic location on the river, fabulous view of Marvão castle from the breakfast room. Lots of National walks, several of which go past the front door. For the price we paid Sever was a superb bargain."
