- "A most enjoyable overnight stop. The restaurant is expensive but the service and food were superb." - "After a long drive from North-West Italy arriving at the hotel with its welcoming but old facade was a treat. Clean fresh rooms and a friendly personal welcome usually afforded only in the most expensive hotels set the tone of the place. We were travelling well out of season but nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Evening meal was available in the attached restaurant, a good job since the rest of the sleepy viallage was very closed, and breakfast was served there too - a high quality restaurant serving exceptional food. Dinner was a bit pricey and perhaps a more affordable and simpler menu could have been available in the bar area. All in all an excellent final stop before returning to the reality of daily life"
