The town and the beach are quiet in that nobody bothers you.There are very few teenagers and no noisy clubs The hotel staff, as always, were excellent - particularly the dining room staff - the chefs and the waiters. The quality of the food is excellent. My only quibble is that they should change the menu in the fine dining restaurant occasionally.. It has been the same for the past three years."

- "The food whilst a challenge to provide for so many people at once was ok but lacked attention. Meat cooked too much. Lack of flavour and the snack bar is just cheap processed food which could be a lot better prepared but as I say a good job for so many " - "I usually do not go to all inclusive hotels because my experience is always the same ( low quality food, low quality drinks, and low quality of guests) This place is huge outside of town, and hill up from the beach. There is an indoor and outdoor eating area - the charm of it is like a hospital cantina and so is the food . Plastik chairs and a big loud hall with no Atmosphäre. The food is simple and missing creativity and healthy options ( fruit salad, healthy greens) The entertainment was for children The Dinks ( Wein ) I could not have - it gave me an headache. Mix drinks all low quality There where lots of old people around or young people with babies The workers where all very pleasant "

- "We stayed only one night because we took the ferry from Gran Canaria to visit friends from Germany who were staying at Aldriana. It was a successful visit and we completely enjoyed our first stay at Cactus Garden. We would be happy to stay again. " - "Great place very friendly would go shain" - "The Fergus Cactus Garden is in an ideal location, just slightly up the hill and away from the busy main road. The reception is beside a pool and seating area and close to the restaurant. The lifts are easy to use and move rapidly and the floors are nicely laid out being slightly staggered and some face sundeck areas with jacuzzis (not very warm). Floor nine also has a naturist sundeck. The internal of the hotel is basic in design and appearance but the rooms are spacious with adequate sized bathroom, sleeping area with tv that includes a few regular UK channels and a separate area containing a settee and table. Other features include balcony with furniture, fridge and free, easy to operate digital safe. My room on the seventh floor had a noticeable stench of drains throughout my stay, a fellow traveller staying one floor below and on the opposite side of the building did not have this issue. The breakfasts served were of average standard but the evening buffet was wonderful, and the price included limitless wines, beers and soft drinks."

- "Journey from airport long and windy. Didn’t like the mix up at check in and being given the wrong room for first night. No children’s entertainment on Sunday. Nice pool, lots of sunbeds nice food. Beautiful beach. " - "The hotel is in need of a refurbishment. The rooms are tired and the common areas fairly spartan. The food was OK but simliar options at each lunch and evening. The All Inclusive did not include any spirits - it was another €18 per day extra for these "extras". The staff are pleasant but are required to multi task". ie work behind bar and clear tables in the dining room. Whilst acknowledging the hotel aims to achieve a low environmental impact the towels and sheets were worn, and the rooms were only cleaned on request. I have stayed in the Loposan group hotels previously and enjoyed my stay. This hotel disappointed and does not merit a 4* rating"

Sparking wine on arrival and at breakfast on the terrace is an added bonus - worthy of a mention as it rounds off the hotel's attention to detail. Think it deserves a 5 star!!
