- "Everything is good, clean, good food in restorant qnd cheap. Ni e wiew in ocean" - "Business trip and had no overnight plans and this hotel was very close. Service staff were very good and spoke good English. I had a room with a sea view which was spectacular. Coffee pod machine and plenty of bottled water. Bathroom was very nice with good quality fittings all round. The only negative was that the air conditioning never really got cold enough for my taste and the overall temperature of the hotel was high and combined with the humidity was a little uncomfortable. For sure it would be better when the temperatures temper. "

- "The Chedi in Ninghai is highly recommended for its location. The multiple villas are all located around the mountains with various views. The property has only 1 main restaurant which primarily caters to the local cuisine. Very little English spoken by the staff and hence difficult for expats to navigate around and had to use Wechat to-communicate. We were fortunate to have Billy Liang's help at the restaurant as he could communicate in English and help us with the food selection.The overall ambience and quality of service does not live up to the Chedi expectation. Feels like a very good investment on Hardware but not enough care taken to provide the right software at this property. Seriously lacking the touch of a quality property which commands a nightly rate of $500 ."

- "Good hotel, especially for this area. English speaking front desk. Breakfast is solid, rooms are clean. Will stay here again when return to this area. " - "Huge Hot Hot Hot and insistent Huge room, very nice but very hot. There were 28°C and all night the air conditioning (very noisy) turned on did not get it below 26.5. You have to be lucky to find some English speakers at the reception (not everyone does it). The laundry bag was missing in the room. I requested and only the day after arrived. The housekeepers came to bring me the clean clothes but they wanted payment in that occasion only cash. I tried to explain that I would pay by credit card the next day but they didn't understand english. I therefore refused the clean clothes and for 5 minutes they insisted on calling the bell and by room telephone. "
