- "We absolutely loved AC Hotel Pasadena! We checked in not knowing it was their first day open. Everything is very aesthetically pleasing; the color scheme, style, furniture, atmosphere. Front desk staff was very helpful. We encountered an issue with our AC not working; the engineer came to fix it but we ended up having to move to a different room. The engineer, Gregg was super helpful and was able to secure a new room for us, personally brought us the new room keys and offered to help us move. He also brought a thoughtful gift bag from the manager! We were very pleasantly surprised that it was a corner suite on the 5th floor with a living room area, huge bathroom AND a huge balcony. The suite had floor to ceiling windows all along the east wall with two seating areas on the balcony. We ate breakfast out on the balcony for the remaining mornings of our stay. The staff at the front desk who dealt with our calls about the AC not working, Gregg the engineer, valet staff, etc., definitely helped make our stay a positive one. We’re already talking about staying here again! "

The breakfast could use an update and better options. They do not offer any protein. Lastly, when I parked the housekeeper on the 4th floor poured a bucket full of something over the rail and onto the cars parked below. She said she was pouring it on the bushes, but at that distance it sprayed at least 3 cars. I don't know why she would do that. I mean what was wrong with pouring it down the drain in the bathtub."
