My unit was built with the thought of comfort and luxury at the same time. Full kitchen is completed with energy star appliances and have a cozy dining area. Living room has 50` flat screen TV. Hardwood flooring throughout the house and it is thoughtfully decorated with ocean and beach theme, even painted the beach and sky mural on the fence. Seating area outside is shared between 3 houses. The patio has a nice chairs, table with bonfire for cozy evenings, and stainless-steel BBQ grill for your enjoyment.

- "We love this property! A Mid-Century Modern home that is perfectly decorated in a natural minimalist style. Hidden away facing a canyon, it's a great place to view wildlife like deer and see every type of bird including owls. A great place to let go of all the stress that build up in day to day life. Many steps and paths lead to to little reading/meditation/yoga areas all around the property. We slept out on the cantilevered deck that looks over the vast property (not counted as one of the bedrooms, just the spot that seemed most interesting to us)....the smells, sounds and cool night air was perfect for us, and completely private. The pool and pool lounge area felt like an expensive resort. The fireplace in the living room was very romantic. The bathrooms are very beautiful and modern and we took turns soaking in the deep jetted spa tub in the master suite.....ou la la. Very short drive or walk down the hill to all the best restaurants, shopping and museums (don't miss the Norton Simon) that Pasadena has to offer. Love, love, love this place!"

- "The rental was in a nice historic neighborhood convenient to a number of stores. It was quiet except for the parrots at dawn & dusk, & very nice for walking. The unit was very clean & we had no trouble turning on the heat (although the remote for the living room heater turned on the TV every time we changed the temperature). The beds were very comfortable. There was no closet in the second bedroom but there was a hanging rack & shelf which did the trick. The bathroom tended to be a little chilly since there was no heater in it but the shower heated up quickly & worked very well. There was a laundry area adjacent to the bathroom. There were bath towels & washcloths but no hand towels. We purchased a couple at Target & left them there. The kitchen was sparsely furnished. We knew there would be no dishwasher, but there were no dish towels or even a drying rack. There were very few dishes but enough for the two of us. The fridge, stove & microwave all worked well. The driveway & garage are definitely very narrow, especially turning the corner. We were fortunate to have a small car. There was plenty of on-street parking but you need a permit to park overnight. If you have a large car, it would make things a lot easier to get a permit. If you are not looking for luxury, the rental is a good value, clean, comfortable, & nicely located. I would definitely stay there again."

Guest room is small but cozy, with double bed, privacy chain, and ceiling fan. Optional fully-made twin mattress, on floor, for child (or for two people who need more space.) Bathroom has combined bathtub and shower, with towels, gel, shampoo, and blow dryer. Closet has hangers, clothes bins, and coffee maker. There is central air and heat plus portable space heater and cooling fans available. There are tray tables, as well as small plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, and plastic cutlery in the closet. Guests may use laundry and kitchen facilities, including washer, dryer, sink, microwave, toaster oven, stove and refrigerator.
