- "This is a unique property that has been in the same family since 1530. The vineyard is great place to relax and take in the natural beauty if the surrounding. The wines and port are excellent. We like it's proximity to Pinhao and touring the various nearby vineyards. We enjoyed the dinner and wine tasting offered at Morgadio de Calcada. The friendliness of the hotel staff, specially the owner, Manuel, is greatly appreciated. We also like the company of the dog, Pita, who is always around the yard, welcoming newcomers and bidding us goodbye when we left. A truly unforgettable experience for us. Highly recommended. "
