- "Comfortable stay." - "This was the worst experience me and my husband had at a La Quinta. You walk in and theecarpet dirt where somebody walked already and there. Somebody just didn't clean up. Carpet was dirty toilet in the first room. They had put us in was literally off the floor it was not bolted down. Carpet was coming apart off from under the beds. It was torn. You walk in and it's stunk, it's smelled like mold. The AC and there you could never get it to cool off. It was a muggy humidity humid feeling. We left 2 days early and had already paid. That has to tell you something we didn't feel safe. There were people just sitting around outside. Drinking partying had a man with big dogs that said he Let, so beware. He sand when we walked in to take a shower. There were no towels, not one towel was in that restaurant. My husband called the front desk to have them bring him some. She said she couldn't bring him any cause. She couldn't leave her desk. He called her back about 40 minutes later to find out how long the towels we're gonna take to get there. She again said that she will try to get over there, but she wasn't for sure. Finally, he decided to open the door and look outside. There had been some towels set down on the dirty Mat outside the door that was covered with dirt gravel. Who knows what on the dirtiest Mat? And expects it him and us to use those The Second room they gave us the water would run all Timeconstantly in the restroom Thebathtub looked like it's not been scrubbed in a very long time. It was just the awfulest experience there. And that is the only La Quinta that we have gone to that just. Was the worst"

- "The SpringHill Suites more than met our expectations. We were in San Angelo for an Angelo State graduation ceremony, and this hotel was a great place to stay. It is close to the University and is convenient to just about everything we visited while there. The room was clean, bright and comfortable. As other reviews mentioned, the bathroom has a sliding door. To be a little more specific, our King room had two bathrooms: one for the toilet with a sink and one with the shower and another sink. Both rooms had sliding doors with frosted glass inlays...which is great because it made the room seem larger, but did allow light to pass into the main room. The living room section was a good size and very functional. The only element I had an issue with at all was the breakfast. It is nice that the breakfast is included, but the pastries were a little stale (not uncommon in my experience at hotel breakfasts) and the oatmeal was watery. A little disappointing. Even so, if we ever have another reason to go to San Angelo, we will definitely consider staying here again."

- "The hotel doesn’t look like much from the outside but the rooms are newly refurbished with very comfortable foam mattresses and plenty of pillows. Bathroom has been renovated with a really nice open shower design. There is a very comfortable lounging/work area above the office with a nice view of a quant courtyard with hot tub individual sitting areas for socializing and indoor outdoor bar and small lounging pool. The friendly staff just topped it off for us. Will be returning in our next visit."
