However we would have liked to have had ordinary (black) tea and milk in the room and maybe hot chocolate sachets and a coffee machine for proper coffe (as opposed to only fruit tea and nescafe sachets with whitner powder). Drinks in the hotel were also a bit pricey (although this was the case throughout the resort). Overall very pleased."

Breakfast is good but a weird setup, so when larger groups, more then 5 are at the buffet, its to crowded to take things" - "The Hotel Elegant Lux is in a great location just a few minutes from the ski gondola and the many bars and restaurants around town. It has a shuttle bus to and from the gondola. We stayed for five nights. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had half board and the breakfasts and dinners were good with a buffet for both. For dinners where there are fewer diners they do table service. There is a spa with pool, sauna and jacuzzi which was good. We went in the morning and were the only people in there. The hotel also had a dry room for ski and snowboard equipment. The rooms are clean and spacious with all the facilities you need. While some people may find some of the furniture a little tired and old fashioned I thought it had a nice look and feel. I’d recommend this hotel for those hitting the pistes and hope to return myself next year. "

The staff in the hotel and in the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The bedding is outstanding as well as the breakfast. Up in the Pirin mountain the ski conditions were perfect and the ski school provided great service. One can rent ski equipment at the hotel also. The swimming pool and the spa facilities as well as the fitness centre are very good. Looks like the area is excellent for hiking and walks also in the summer. We found the hotel to be a great value for the money and service provided and plan to visit again."
