Staff were very accomodating and extremely friendly. Service was excellent with high staff to guest ratio. Nothing too much trouble. On departure day a taxi was ordered for us and as we were leaving slightly before the official start time of breakfast, staff kindly arranged for us to have breakfast a little earlier which was very much appreciated. Silver service breakfast was wonderful and lots of choice. Overall a truly memorable stay and we will certainly be returning. "

You’ll definitely need a car if you want to venture to nearby Porto Cervo, though it wasn’t as lively or interesting as we had hoped, perhaps because it was off season and quieter. There is a nearby resort town with restaurants, about a 6 minute drive or 20-30 minute walk. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and plan to be back in the future, thank you to each person at 7Pines for making our stay relaxing and unforgettable!"

Sadly, this is not true. The location, setting and architecture are stunning and on point. However, the decor (at least in the rooms vs villas) is very old school and without modern enhancements. I didn't love or appreciate this aspect of the hotel. It is literally very 80's decor and a little shocked this hasn't been modernized. The food is very expensive which is fine but I don't think it delivered given the cost structure. Essentially they force you into a meal plan or both lunch and dinner are set menu each for 200 euro's per person. We had a problem with our AC that took awhile for them to find a solution which was an oversized mobile a/c generator put in our room which was very loud. This is after 3 calls. I expected more from a service level on this front."

- "Mangia’s have most things in place to receive 90%+ from every visitor but This is not Four Seasons, it’s mid range FYI. PROS: The location is stunning. The beach is fantastic. Breakfast plentiful and varied. Pool area is great. The staff are very friendly, polite and in most cases speak good English, a basic criteria in any European hospitality business. The facilities and leisure options are also very good; Tennis, paddle, basketball, football, kayaking, it’s all there if you want to use it. The gym Is very well equipped for being a hotel gym, plenty of free weights and machines to maintain your levels for a shorter period on holiday. Yoga and fitness classes free of charge. Kids activities as well. A mini train that takes you around the resort from 7-23pm. Buggies that pick up and collect you from the car park or your room with the luggage. Organised trips to all sights and places worth visiting at a cost, car hire in the lobby, pharmacy and a boutique. Even a local bus stop to take you to Santa Teresa with all the things to do there. Wow. What a package! CONS: There are no lifts, and plenty of stairs, lots of walking to do. HOUSE KEEPING: Non functional. It’s a certain to have your room cleaned daily and basic consumables restocked. It’s not working. Communication about all the amenities and things to do is lacking. It feels like they are understaffed and needs a big injection of organisation. Totally have the potential to be a 4*+ resort. Lack of dining options as well. "
