The bed is a bit hard, but this seems to be a standard of Taiwanese hotels." - "The location is just at the end of the block from the tourist information office where all the transportation is, so it's very convenient. The service is not very helpful or informative, but we didn't need much. The rooms are spacious but flashy low quality design. There was no maid service, they only provided 2 packs of liquid soap for our entire stay and never came back to remove the trash or refill anything. We had dedicated wifi for the room, while spotty in certain corners it was overall decent. Breakfast was at their larger sister hotel down the street, go earlier for more options. You'll have to complain to get them to refill the trays towards the end of the service."

The room was a bit outdated, but I think the large windows and natural light made up for it (plus our kids thought the decorations were fun). The room was very spacious, and had multiple beds to fit our family of six. The beds were also comfortable, and the staff was very accommodating to help me find a different pillow for my sensitive neck. The property itself did not have a pool, but there is a public pool next door available for free for hotel guests to use. Also, if you have younger children, there is a water park area within walking distance (maybe 200 meters away). There are plenty of restaurants and street food within walking distance (less than 1 km) of the hotel. The property is owned by a family, and they treat their staff and guests like family as well. We felt very welcomed and highly enjoyed our stay."
