- "The staff at the reception is not that good in English but they try and use Google, friendly and helpful. We got a room with three beds, good size of room and clean. There is a safe, kettle, AC and smal fridge. The small villas are nice and also the family villas are nice looking. The staff at the restaurant is great, very service minded and helpful. Always smiling and some of them speak good English. There is a pool and a beach just by the hotell. We ate alot in the hotel restaurant and they have a big menu with good prices. There is a small shop for snacks, ice cream, beer/sodas. We liked over stay here and recommend it. Very calm in begging aog February and not slot of tourist, most people are Thai. "

Once I pointed out the safe was not operational they made two other rooms available which were better. The resort is next to the beach we’re there is resturants and a few bars. - "The first time we were here the Bangalo right on the beach nice view. Very comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was supplied and was good. The hotel pool was excellent. The sea at the beach next to the hotel was very muddy for some reason. Didn't seem to be a permanent thing as the sand wasn't muddy. The location of the resort means that transport is required. There is a nice restaurant across the road with some good Western and Thai food. Some other restaurants within walking distance that we didn't try. Some good, clean beaches within a 10 - 15 minute drive and some beautiful forested headlands nearby too. Beware of snakes though and it's best not to feed the monkeys. The area takes a bit of getting to know as there is an estuarine water system that makes the road system rather complicated. We will certainly return at some point."

- "Excellent " - "It was a nice place to stay. Nice beach. Good breakfast. good seafood surrounding" - "Well run and maintained charm. Stayed in the 5-unit building on the beachside of the property so got to see the constant attention and upgrades to the facility and grounds - nice to see re-investment and maintenance rather than the neglect that often seems to be the case for tourist towns. Although our building was older, it was a joy to walk on real wood floors and to sit on the back balcony. Comfortable lounging area on the grass underneath trees and a clean beach. A small playground and an assortment of sand toys for small children. Breakfast was better than most including both Thai and Western options (including eggs to order). There a numerous restaurants nearby so driving becomes an option rather than a necessity (my Thai wife made a significant dent in the crustacean population in the seafood grill a ten minute walk away. Believe there were bicycles for rent or possibly gratis - we did not avail ourselves. The 'street-side' had some nice landscaping but we mostly just transited. Nice to wake to birds rather than cars."

- "Had a nice 3 day escape. Went mid week so it was quiet! Room was large (32 sq m) and clean. Pool was also large, clean and quiet. Beach area was OK.... as the tide goes out a few hundred meters and when in come in the beach area gets very small. Breakfast was buffet two days and by order on the 3rd day. Again just OK." - "Although we enjoyed our stay here the overall impression of the hotel is that it really needs updating. The rooms were tired, with many issues such as dated curtains that were either open or closed. As we had a ground floor beach front villa this gave little/no privacy if the curtains were open. Net type curtains in the main bedroom at least would have improved this. The air-conditioning, although worked well, broke down whilst we were staying and leaked lots of water onto the bedroom floor. The rooms are sparse and not really made to feel comfortable, very basic, and the decor throughout the hotel is tired looking. The dining experience was, at best, ok but the dining moved after the weekend to the beach front bar which in all honesty looks pretty bad. This felt a little unclean and the bar area/cooking stations didn't look great. Some of the staff where not the happiest but generally they were younger and working 'out of season' for Thailand. Staff - As stated most were friendly some not so. The reception was always quick to address any issues; Particularly when the air-con broke the engineer responded & fixed the issue very quickly. Having said all of that we practically had the whole hotel to ourselves and as such enjoyed the large swimming pool and surrounding area. Nearby there are quite a few local restaurants which we visited as the hotel food was ok but expensive (by Thai standards) for what it was and these were great. In summary I'd our stay was ok. "

- "This was a lovely little budget resort. 35 chalets arranged around a swimming pool and garden. The pool was nice with very warm water so could spend ages in it. Sun loungers around the edge. I was worried there was only Thai breakfast and the staff didn't speak English. However after sitting with a glass of water for 5 minutes the waitress brought me fried egg with frankfurters and 2 slices of toast. I was obviously not their first falang😁 The resort is off the main road but that stretch is not busy. It is within walking distance of the ao khung kraben mangrove nature trail. Excellent all round.
