- "I love the property, everything was excellent " - "We had a great one night stay. The sofa bed for the kids weren’t great but other than that everything was good. " - "Chosen for the pictures on the website, I had not understood correctly that this was truly a 'resort' - my bad I suppose. I was allocated a ground floor apartment quite a way from the hotel reception, which proved a little hard to find. Upon entering, I was not enamoured with the long shape of the room, nor by the many floor to ceiling windows, all of which looked out on a shared terrace area, where smokers meant I could not even open the windows on a hot afternoon. In addition, the air-con was not working. I waited for 30 minutes, without unpacking to see if the air-con could be fixed but it couldn't. I therefore left the room and went back to reception to demand a new room. I was allocated a disabled room in the main hotel, which was much better and I decided I could deal with the 'disabled features' of the room. I requested a kettle and a cup on 2 separate occasions and was finally delivered these. I opted for the buffet evening meal but, to be honest, I was shocked at the cost (€40) for the assortment and quality given. This was not worth it. After retiring to my room I noticed that there were cobwebs and spiders in every corner of the high-ceilinged room but I was just too exhausted to complain about this too. The air-con in this room was also only mediocre. Wi-Fi was an OK speed, bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Breakfast the next morning was a massive 'free for all' and not that good. I won't choose to stay here again."

- "Located in the Altstadt. 2 years ago I stayed in a hotel in the Neustadt. A bit of a walk from the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) when I arrived, as I didn't know the tram system and which top to get off. As it turned out, I could take the Number1 or 6, getting off at the same stop (Ritterstrasse) Found out and took the tram back when I let Brandenburg a.d. Havel. Front desk was not particularly helpful when I asked, particularly where to buy a ticket (Fahrkarte)."

- "Very nice but missing coffee making facility in room" - "I had looked forward to my stay at the Seehotel, booked for three nights during a business trip. The lakeside location and sauna/steam room facilities sounded ideal. However, upon arrival, I found a note in my room informing me there would be no telephones for the week due to system work. This also meant the sauna and steam room were out of service, as alarms wouldn’t be available in emergencies. There was no internet or Wi-Fi anywhere in the hotel. This was not mentioned in the welcome letter, and when I raised it at reception, the staff shrugged and unhelpfully suggested trying the top floor for a signal. Additionally, mobile reception was poor, and I often had to sit in a dark corridor on the third-floor conference area to connect and work. The staff appeared indifferent to the inconvenience. When I emailed to raise these issues, I received a handwritten note advising me to speak with reception. However, the house manager was never available when I attempted to follow up. The hotel itself is in a beautiful location in Rhinesberg, and the breakfast and restaurant staff were wonderful. However, my experience was further soured at checkout when the receptionist insisted I pay, despite having prepaid through Hotels.com. I ended up only paying the city tax, plus €5 per night for parking, which felt unreasonable given the lack of key amenities. I won’t be returning; prior notice of such disruptions, or a sincere apology, would have gone a long way."

- "Stayed here for a weekend while I attended a wedding. Room was clean, spacious, comfortable and had plenty of light. There was a little kitchenette with a coffee machine, but no supplies for it. Despite needing a car to get to this hotel, I had to pay for parking (per day). If I was sharing with a friend, we would have to pay a fee for an extra person (per day).
